Does anyone know if there is still an offer on Basmati Rice in either? I might have missed the 10 kilo bags at Lidl the other week...

The ones in mine have been "broken" basmati,no good for me I'm funny about rice.

Don't know if these have been mentioned before, but I've had the Milbona fat free yoghurts this week from Lidl, lemon cheesecake, mint with chocolate sprinkles and orange with chocolate sprinkles and they have all been really nice, and taste no different to me than other more expensive brands

I love the yoghurt from lidl, bizarrely son no 2 loves the milbona light orange & chocolate sprinkles and the mint & chocolate sprinkles but son no 1 won't eat anything other than the muller light ones - so unless I can get a good offer on them he does without
  • Has anyone bought the lidl Turkish style yoghurt? I buy the Greek style but always wonder what the difference in the two is. I find that the Greek one has been quite bitter tasting the last couple of times, so was wondering about changing.

  • Yes I have. Bought both, equally delicious, personally I find the Turkish yoghurt a bit thicker.

Lidl nasen goreng fried rice is delicious, the aldi version not so good. The Lidl golden syrup porridge is fab but the aldi version isn't as sweet and tasty but the aldi version of frosties are yummy . Aldis tinned macaroni cheese to me tastes just like Heinz...yum and I also live their strawberry Greek yogurts.

[Aldi]...I also live their strawberry Greek yogurts.

Are you still getting those? We haven't had them since the end of last year.

In fact, the yummy coconut flavour appeared, and then the whole lot disappeared a couple of weeks later.
  • Lots of reductions at Aldi this morning on frozen party food - all half price, Plus frozen turkeys all half price. Large, medium and small sizes, but sadly the medium were all sold out! I got a small size one for £4.99 reduced from £9.99. Will come in nicely for Easter.

  • Awww.......someone reassure me that Aldi haven't stopped doing their lovely frozen duck legs in various sauces; my local store hasn't had them for a month or more :(
