We all loved the Aldi matchmaker copies, dipped in ballycastle"You can't stop the waves, but you can learn to surf"

Nice win!
We like the Koolaburra rose for (I think) £3.99 and the Rossetti Zinfandel blush (slightly cheaper, if I remember rightly), which is not to sweet - we tend to prefer dryer whites and these two are lovely for a change.Mortgage free as of 11/11/15 !

Tasted it, and its the best Christmas Pud I've ever had in my life. Whole nuts, whole juicy fruit (including cherries) and well, lets just say you can taste the alcohol lol. Entirely different to any pud I've had before.
So wish I'd bought more lololol.
I bought Aldi Christmas pudding as well and same as you it was the best Christmas pudding i have ever tasted. All the fruit wasnt mushed up it was whole.Wish i bought loads more now as well.0 -

DH is quite partial to the Castellore Pinot Grigio blush. Can't think of the price off-hand but it's one of their cheaper wines."If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"0 -

I'm not keen on Xmas pud but bought a standard (I think? It was connoisseurs choice) aldi one for OH. He and the two others that tried it agreed it was the best pud they'd had and it was polished off very quickly. Even the staunch sainsbury TTD buyer had to concede aldi won there!0 -
a couple of people at work were raving about the £1.79 extra special thick cut oven chips but I've cooked them 3 times now and can never get them quite right. Also I've noticed along with the nice thick cut chips are smaller frazzly ones that are always burnt - obviously put in to make the weight up.0

The Aldi specially selected cheeses were lovely! I am normally left with lots of cheese - but not this time! I tried the blue stilton (which I usually hate) after much persuasion and I have been converted! it was so gorgeous and creamy and none of that horrible aftertaste! my favourite was the wensleydale with cranberries though.0

We love Lidl's Harvest Basket potato wedges, so much tastier/ crispier than Sainsbury's own. Everyone complements them when we serve them and you get a generous bag for just 79p! Bargainous.
I will also never shop anywhere else for ice cream, theirs are so much better than any other supermarket and so cheap! The chocolate magnum-alikes are favs in our houseMinimalist
