is the green one cloudy? I've been waiting for ages to get my hands on the Bamboo (I think) fragrance again without success for a year now....First they ignore you, then they ridicule you, then they fight you, and then you win - Gandhi0 -

Might pop down to Aldi later see what's around, last year after Christmas picked up several lovely big hams that were hugely reduced as the date was running out and no one wants them. I have a basic slicer machine so I often buy large meats and slice myself then freeze with cheap plastic bags as separators
I find the number of slices you get is astonishing compared to the price you pay for just 4 in a pack, you can do them slightly thicker and there is less water they pad the weight with.
Our whole family needs lunch sandwiches and this keeps us going a long time and so much nicer than cheap spam like processed ham. (we do vary the sandwich fillings I would add, not ham every day!)
Slicer also works on mega cheap Lidl bacon offcuts pack if you get a good one, they are an often overlooked but handy money-saving kitchen gadget and not expensive, mine was £25 and has many uses.0 -

I've seen the green cloudy one but not used it, I've just had the standard dark green and the grapefruit which was pink.0 -
Just picked up one of Lidl's Wild Chum Salmon Fillets for £2.99 (50% off).0

Aldi Jaffa cakes are amazing and their mini cheddars. Also their tomato pasta sauce is only £0.29p and if you add some red onions over pasta and sprinkle some cheese its gorgeous and so cheap0

OMG ...we opened a jar of Aldi's Hot & Spicy Silverskin Onions to have a ploughman's with the leftover Chrimbo cheese at lunchtime today. My eyes have only just stopped watering and there is now a water shortage in North Yorkshire0

Could anyone recommend any Aldi rose wine? I hate White Zinfandel(sp) as its too sweet and sickly. I don't think I have bought any. I am currently on my last bottle of rose (Grey Fox White Grenache), won £25 on Xmas Eve Lotto and fancy treating myself to half a dozen bottles at Aldi. This is a system account and does not represent a real person.
