I bought some lidl macaroons tonight as a treat. £2.49 for a box. I was shocked to see there were only six in the box. They were very tasty but I don't think I will hurry to buy more.
Couldn't see any brisket in my local store that's advertised in the leaflet but will keep looking.
Shame they have run out of tinned chopped tomatoes with extra bits in, the one with basil made a great pasta sauce. I wish I had stocked up.

Aldi seasonal Dark Chocolate Lebkucken - 99p per bag.

Very nice, and excellent VFM, too.

Also the 99p Chocolate Liqueurs - I think I had some of these last year from Poundland, but they are very nice, with branded alcohol brands, too: Teachers, Courvoisier and Cointreau.

May be worth checking your local Aldi as mine has dropped the Lebkuchen down to 79p. Happy days!

If they are 79p, I'm definitely getting some more for my French class. (Long story).

Lidl cooking bacon, it's usually just sliced (I once had a pack with tiny bits and twice a large lump ). The colour tells me if it it's mainly smoked (dark) or unsmoked. Freezes perfectly for later use after opening (in a tub).

Is there a way to find the direct phone number to a specific Aldi? Google just lists a 0800 number. As two of the closest stores don't stock Limoncello, I don't want to waste my time and fuel.

    Please move this thread back.

Aldi don't do direct numbers, as the managers are usually on the shop floor and not there to relay customer calls.
It is a nuisance, I agree.
Generally the larger Aldis have larger stock runs.
I wonder if there is anyone on this thread who is in your locality?

Why cannot you just phone this number ? They should know what stores stock what products ? ( and should even know what their current stock count is )

I did this earlier in the year when I was trying to track down some cocktail liqueurs on promotion. I was able to call the branch directly though, and they gave me a quick answer. These days I don't even bother with my local, it's just easier to go to the branch in Romford (A12) when I head out to Essex.

Speaking of which, they have some interesting looking orange liqueur with cognac in stock atm. Has anyone tried it?
