Lidl has already started accepting them.
Despite the large signs near the tills, though, their excellent staff were still saying that they didn't take credit cards, and were surprised when the card was accepted. Said they hadn't been told!0 -
Aldi were already taking Mastercard and Visa credit cards today - signs up too showing that they're now taking 'major' (presumably not Amex) credit and debit cards.

I'm really pleased this is coming on stream, hope it's in my shop this week.
I find it so much easier to keep track of money if I stick everything on a card and pay in full at the end of the month.:money:0 -

I really like lemon curd, but it's definitely a "less is more" thing.0 -
I don't think the Aldi coconut milk has been mentioned on here before, I'm about to use it yet again in a Thai curry. It's great quality and really very good, the last two tins I have used have been more like coconut cream than coconut milk. I can't remember what it costs now, - 69p, 79p ? - but it's in a 400ml tin.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I wouldn't trust that any eggs from an outlet like Poundworld would be free-range, frankly. 6 large free range eggs in Aldi are 99p and the medium sized free range are 6 for 89p. They are British eggs, and always great quality.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... Just been in to check and they're all caged in Poundworld - will go for Aldi as usual, £2.19 for 15. Thanks xMy debt free diary | Post Office loan: £2131 1429.38 | Barclaycard: £4429 1988.12 | Paypal Credit £322.71 574.91 | Monzo Flex £169.03 |

I have a feeling that some of the Big 4 are slightly cheaper if you are buying that many eggs.
Aldi is cheapest for 6.0
