So 5% fat beef mince is £6-36 a kilo against Morrisons £8-89 and even on 3 for £10 @ Morrisons that works to £8-58 @ Aldi. for same comparable weight.
Do I need it or just want it.

What was once a good buy is now one to avoid.

The Aldi "Luxery" muesli has changed packaging and with it radically changed the composition and slashed the amount of fruit - now no better than most "value" brands in the supermarkets at double the price.

I also think it is very disingenuous as the new packaging extols the fact this muesli won a "Great Taste" award in 2013. To me this is false advertising as the new product cannot be compared with what used to be the king of muesli.

So why has the thread moved????

Very disappointed that the Cremant du Jura (sp?) sparkling chardonnay had disappeared from Aldi today. I love the stuff since reading about it in Jane McQuitty column.I did ask why and got usual vague, irrational answers.

    Anyone heard anything about it?

Not sure if it's already been mentioned, but Aldi is due to start accepting Credit Cards on 13/10.

Lidl has already started accepting them.

The Aldi website now has the facility for customers to leave reviews, I was looking at some of them today. I use their Carino Natural Light Brown hair colour which is brilliant - it's 100ml, which is far too much for my short, fine hair. I pour out 25 ml each of colour and developer into a plastic bowl, mix it and use it that way.
Not many shampoo reviews, I will be looking at using their shampoos at some stage. (I've been using up my toiletries stash so haven't bought any in years, literally).
Has anyone tried their shampoos and conditioners? I have a pink and black L'Oreal conditioner looky likey they did a while ago but that hasn't been in store for a while.
Aldi do Herbal Essences, Tresemme and L'Oreal Elvive looky likeys as well as lower priced family shampoos, any views would be welcome.

And also Tuna Chunks in plain water (avoiding the oil or salt in other options).
