Absolutely agree with you. It's a practise that seems to exist almost entirely amongst those whom education passed by. Interesting that Waitrose customers have never felt the need to create a pet name - or indeed to add the ludicrous 's' that the intellectually challenged add to names like Aldi, Lidl and Tesco.

Actually, i feel sorry for Waitrose shoppers, they can't seem to see that they're being ripped off.

As long as you can read and understand a post, does it really matter whether there are a few extra letters added to a word, or whether it's rearranged to avoid the filter ? Snobbery in both cases really.

The original point was that "Stains bops" ISNT understandable . I also had no idea what the post was saying.

But a lot of other posters would have understood. I did.

It's not hard really. You can beat the swear filters but it's easier to just type the letters in a different order.

My goldfish are carp. I took them to Lidl, but they wouldn't let me build an ornamental pond in the car park.

    Something should be done. :D

Now that's where you're wrong. I shop at both Waitrose and Aldi because Aldi don't often stock some items I need. But, for those particular items, I find Waitrose more competitive than the other supermarkets plus it's a vastly more pleasant shopping experience :)

Same here. 90% from Aldi and the rest from Waitrose - which is, as you say, often cheaper for those less mainstream items than Tesco. The free coffee and £1.60 newspaper are nice little bonuses too, along with the greatly enhanced shopping experience and a very social meeting place.
