Does anyone know what the meat offers are at Aldi at the minute please? (North Staffs).
We have been away for the past week so I didn't pick up a leaflet and it doesn't say online what the meat offers are.
Ta.
There is the Aldi app which shows 4 days of the offers which come out Thursdays and Sundays0 -
Good buys from Aldi I would say are:
Kitchen towel x4 rolls 1.99 - good quality, prefer it to the major supermarket brands.
Chilli sauce 65p - picked up 2 today, noticed they hhave changed the packaging and you can choose between mild or hot. I picked up the older style medium
boxed raisins x12 99p - for my little girl no added oils bargain at 99p compared to the californian ones you buy in the baby food ailse, think they are nearly 4 pound :0
Snackrite crisps x6 79p
Toasting muffins x4 45p - hubby says they are gorgeous
non bio washing tabletsx36 - 2.49
they do a mint creme chocolate bar for about 79p i think - Im lactose intolerant and used to buy Lindt/green and blacks so this is a cheaper alternative and very nice
multigrain crackers - 85p
Sweet potatoes - 69p a bag, last for ages in the fridge and better quality than A*da.
Braces bread is 99p - normally manage to pick up a few loaves marked 30-50% off.
Managed to convert my sister to quite a few of the stuff I buy, The only thing I dont rate is their Cinnamon and Raisin bagels x4 - I find these really dry!.

Fruit and veg, especially soft stuff can be well dodgy. Things that would last over a week from Asda are going a bit manky after 3 or 4 days.
I still buy it though, just in smaller quantities.
I wonder how the fruit and veg shop on the high street compares. I must try them next week and see.0 -

Thanks for that, I may have to look out for these, are they near the wines and spirits and can you tell me the price please?

Tried one of these tonight, it's much better than other so called hot pizzas. Good call.
I tried one of those once - took off the chillis I could see as I don't like too much heat...
... ended up drinking a litre of milk to quell the flames. they are very very hot (if you like that sort of thing). :cool:0 -

No, not in wine and spirit aisle. When I got mine they were down the centre aisle where all the Christmas stuff was (other side to puds, mince pies, etc) I've forgotten the price but I think about £3.99 per box of 10. Not been in since Christmas so don't know if they are still selling them. Made a lovely coffee, with the addition of some cream of course!"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"0 -

I agree with you about some of the soft fruit, it doesn't seem to last as long. Other fruit like apples and pears is very good.
Also the packs of veggies for Christmas (parsnips, carrots, brussels) were absolutely fantastic and at only 35p a bag amazing value too. I bought them a week before Christmas and they lasted find (kept in fridge) and were delicious on the day. I won't be paying £1 a pack from the bigger supermarkets again!0 -
On Christmas Eve, my Aldi was doing all fruit & veg at buy one get one free, so even better value !You're only young once, but you can be immature forever0
