I need to top up the food cupboard standby options. Any one recommend good pasta/curry sauces suitable for vegetarians at Lidl? Also those best avoided.0

My local Lidl takes debit cards and does cashback.
Not worth buying.. organic semi-skimmed fresh milk 99p - watery and I've tried it twice now and so did my mother.
Sometimes Lidl stocks the Seeds of Change organic pasta sauces which are really good.0 -
Both Lidl and Aldi do no added sugar muesli for around £1. It's nearer £1.70 for other supermarkets own brand. The Aldi/Lidl ones are nicer.
I love their mini Magnum type icecreams. High Juice is much cheaper than other supermarkets.Nevermind the dog, beware of the kids!0 -
I've not tried any sauces from Lidl - but have tried the Tikka Masala from Aldi which is fab (and veggie friendly).
I'm veggie too, so keen to hear what other recommendations you get.0 -
Does anyone know what the meat offers are at Aldi at the minute please? (North Staffs).
We have been away for the past week so I didn't pick up a leaflet and it doesn't say online what the meat offers are.

Over Christmas we had various nuts andcrips from Lidl, they were all lovely. The chilli nuts (like Nobby's) were very nice.
Lidl sells biscuits like Penguins in mint or orange in packs of 14. They are a good buy.Nevermind the dog, beware of the kids!0 -
I'm not sure if it's what you're after, but the latest leaflet (starting 30th Dec) is viewable online:

My eyes are going, I saw that and thought it only contained non food items.
Doh!

Don't buy the Aldi 'wellness' type fruit juices, they taste disgusting and so artificial. I had to throw a few away.:DWins 2013: Dr. Bronner's soap, Jenning's brewery t-shirt, , BEAR yo-yo's snack pack, Jumblebum childrens book, Vicks thermoflex thermometer, baby outfit & shoes set, Gregg's breakfast voucher, 1 x e-book & 1 paperback novel0
