Aldi or whoever bakes for them, uses far too much salt, who has ever heard of or tasted biscuits, choc covered at that, taste of salt?
I can't say I've ever noticed any saltiness.

However, I do wonder what they're doing with their biscuits. They used to sell perfectly good chocolate digestives, then around a year ago the wrapper changed as did the recipe I think, and IMO they now taste horrible. A few months ago I noticed that the wrapper on their custard creams had also changed, and as before they too now taste vile. I don't know whether the new wrappers are indicative of a new supplier, but if so I wish they'd revert to the old one. Fortunately, so far, the Oaties seem fine!

I really don't like ALDI's Le Jardin Vert apricot conserve. It's in a jar similarly shaped to Bonne Maman's (but with a black lid) & contains 50% fruit. It's sweet, only mildly tastes of apricot & I'm disappointed :(

You can get a small whole chicken in aldi for £2.59 (I think anyway - it's around that!) Cheaper than anywhere else anyway!;)

Don't know if anyone's mentioned it but the bags of Dairyfine chocolate buttons now only contain 70g instead of 100g.
