Update aldi customer services called me this morning and apologised saying they have contacted the suppliers and the store to investigate.. They also gave me a ref number to take to my store on my next visit for a refund...pretty impressive responseThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. Note to Aldi - women have large feet. Fed up of seeing shoes and boots that stop at 7. The same applies to Lidl. Having size 8 feet I had to buy walking boots in charcoal instead of purple. Have corrected your quote although as a limited range shop I feel it is reasonable for them to not stock women's colours beyond a 7. When they stock bras they don't go beyond a c cup, and I don't have the luxury of going for a man's colour! However I accept that.
I would have thought there are more women with a D cup than wear a size 8 shoe.0 -

I have the opposite problem - my feet are a size 3! so Aldi's size four is usually way too big.
I don't find a problem with their clothing sizes though. I am a standard size 12 and their 10 -12 fits lovely!0 -

Same with me, I too take a size 3 and all their shoes start at 4. I tried one of their summer shoes on last week, hopeful of a small 4 but, alas, they were like barges on me!
However, their kids shoes usually go up to a 3 and a few years ago I got some kids snow boots that fit perfectly!"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"0 -
I loves their frikadellen!
They can't be beat for pasta, rice, tinned veg etc.0 -
Aldi Salmon - I'd been buying the fresh Salmon - 2 fillets (240g) for £2.69 which was nice, but they'd run out, so I bought the frozen, instead, which is even better.
2 separate fillets, so you can use them individually, and much leaner than the fresh fillets, with no skin.0 -
I love Aldi's mini individual quiche (called tarts in store) that come in a smoked ham or broccoli and tomato falvour. Only £1.49 for two.
I think their cooked meats have vastly improved in selection and now offer more flavours of ham, ie mustard. I got 5 slices the other day for £1.29. very nice.
I regularly buy their salad cream, about 89p for the light variety and cereals.
Their strawberry fizzy water is the strongest and best I have had from any supermarket, the volvic water is terribly weak compared to Aldi.
I am sure there are more things I love from Aldi although not a huge fan of Lidl apart from their fresh bread.0
