I've been using Ariel 3 in 1 liquid capsules for a couple of weeks now and they are better than Aldis Almat capsules. I've also used Daz powder and think thats better as well.
I think my washing has been cleaner, brighter and smells better. People swear by Aldis washing liquid/powder but I cant.
Which? have tested the lot and it's the powders that get the highest ratings.

The Ariel capsules scored 82% against Almat's 73% (but Ariel is much more expensive).

Almat Bio powder, though, scored 89% and was one of the very cheapest of all those tested. Ariel Bio and Persil Bio scored 91% - but at considerably greater cost for a marginally better performance.

All that detergent advertising has to be paid for! :)

I bought some Aldi's washing liquid. It made my skin itch and irritated. I don't have issues with other brands.

Could not be bothered going to a queue having people's eyes starring at me. I gave the bottle to a friend who I know uses it with no problems.

If Aldi had a separate customer service desk- not manned all the time, more customers will actually return things if gone mouldy before date, causes rash etc. Instead, these customers simply don't bother buying that items anymore. Without this, Aldi have no idea with problematic products. If they knew, they could change supplier, change processes etc.

I reckon that the Lidl Cotes du Rhones Villages is excellent value at £4.99, a definite step up from their cheaper, basic Cotes du Rhone, and in this hot weather is ideal with BBQ'd meat - remember to chill it slightly.

Not much more expensive to be honest. I buy Ariel gel liquid when on offer or their 38 pack gel pods which work out around 15p per wash which is same price as the Almat gel pods.

A pack of Ariel gel pods cost £6 for 38
A pack of Almat gel pods cost £5.98 for 40

So, hardly any difference at all ;)

Update aldi customer services called me this morning and apologised saying they have contacted the suppliers and the store to investigate.. They also gave me a ref number to take to my store on my next visit for a refund...pretty impressive response

You don't know if any of them work,i would trust Aldi or Lidl surge protectors same as say Belkin, you only get one year warranty usually too.
Unlike some other places I never had an issue with returning any specials item to L od A for whatever reason . So warranty is not a problem and many electricals actually have the European 3 years warranty instead of 12 months.
I even watched a woman in front of me returning an (usused I hope) loo brush with the cashier casually asking "Doesn't it do the job?" but she did get her money back.:rotfl:

From where and what cost? Is this recent? I've not seen it listed on L or A website or I would have gone for it.
