Its all down to head office if they don't sell many they stop stocking them. My younger statistician brother used to work for a big supermarket and his job was to work out what lines and products each store would have on their shelves. Lots of calculations were involved as to how many sold and within certain timescales, how much profit etc.
The benefit bars fly off the shelves ...cheapest heb on SW the other options are more than twice aldis price so cant be that0 -

All the more reason to post good finds here, if there is a national demand for it then perhaps it will keep the supply chain safe.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

or maybe I like stuff that nobody else does :rotfl:. I do my best!
Strange though that the olives in oil disappeared at the same time from Aldi and Lidl, so I assume it must be more of a supplier's problem from Italy. Or they all decided oil's not healthy , who knows...First they ignore you, then they ridicule you, then they fight you, and then you win - Gandhi0 -

The price most charge is very high. As such the producers to and the buyers for the supermarkets may each be reluctant.0 -

I loves their frikadellen!
They can't be beat for pasta, rice, tinned veg etc.
I second that! We even like them sliced thinly with lettuce and tomato on a baguette. For some reason I think the mini ones taste different to the large ones.....Jane

I hate to ask after clearly stating how much I dislike the Lidl Fin Carre chocolate....when is it next on 1/2 price offer (usually a weekend thing)? I can feel a batch of chocolate flapjacks coming on, this stuff is ok melted down and smothered over tray bakes, just not so good to eat square by square.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

just a note to say that my favourite wine (Aldi) has gone up to £ 3.15. Still, it's nice , cheap and cheerful.
re. chocolate offers at Lidl, I thing the green milk/nut has just been on a 1/2 price weekend deal, I missed it.First they ignore you, then they ridicule you, then they fight you, and then you win - Gandhi0
