The wine annoyed me, although it was only £3.09 wasnt it? It's an annoyance that they snuck it up

I get annoyed with price rises because most of the time it's not to do with harvests or shortages or fuel prices or wages but just because they can!!

just a note to say that my favourite wine (Aldi) has gone up to £ 3.15. Still, it's nice , cheap and cheerful.

Which wine is that then ?

Outrageous! A 27% price rise. Call out the National Guard.

It's called inflation and luxury products such as alcohol help to subsidise the basic food lines. I hardly call a rise of 6p per bottle as particularly inflammatory!!

    Regarding Aldi's tinned fruit.

I don't want to waste a trip to there, but could someone on here could help me here. Is their tinned fruit in syrup or juice?

On Weight Watchers as tinned fruit with juice drained is 0pp but syrup, its pointed.

I don't find their tinned fruit particularly competitive, but I believe they have mainly fruit in syrup, with a few lines in juice (like all supermarkets).

I get 3x Dole Tinned fruit (in syrup) from Poundshops.

I find B&M to be good for tinned fruit, typically 69p for large 820g tins. The types available do tend to vary from week to week though.
