Aldi £1 Pizzas now reduced to 89p
I think the reductions are intended to try to keep some distinction between Morrison's matching prices and Aldi prices.0 -

My usual powder is persil bio and only buy when on offer but am close to the bottom of box and cant find any offers at the moment so was considering trying the lidl one.
I bought some of this last time it was on offer (2 x 100 wash for £14.00)
I am usually a daz or ariel user but I can honestly say I have not been dissapointed by it. Everything has been washed the same as I would have washed with the branded powders and its all coming out clean. I use the bilogical one and none of us have had any allergic reactions to it. Its called Formil and I would say try a box you wont be dissapointed0 -
Avoid Lidls nectarines. Punnet purchased last Sunday to ripen now going mouldy before being ripe and #3son reports a strange white plaque around the stonePlease forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.0

Re: Lidl washing powder...
I was having a major problem with white streaks on my dark washing for ages when I was using Formil.
I was told it was because modern washing machines use less water so it may happen with all powders.
But I went onto Surf as they had 50 wash boxes for half-price in Tesco a while back. And..no more white streaks.
Maybe it's just coincidence but I personally wouldn't risk using Formil again and will stock up on Surf when it's next on offer.0 -

Thats strange I can honestly say ive not had this problem at all and ive already got through 2 x 100 wash boxs mind you I probably dont use as much powder as it suggests and I have a big load capacity washer (I.e my machine isnt full of bubbles when washing) so not sure if that makes a difference and I do wash a lot of dark work clothes and work wear uniforms maybe an extra rinse may have helped still each to their own and theres nowt wrong with surf either ill use that if its on offer anywhere infact ill use anything thats going cheap at the time0 -
Avoid buying Aldi's Blush Pears'. I've made the stupid mistake of purchasing them twice over the last few months by accident.
They taste bitter and leave a real furry taste in your mouth. Yuuuukkkkkk!0 -

When I did find the new home for some of the items I was met with empty shelves! A week without Cheese Curls, how will I cope?!!
One bonus, however, lots of reductions on left-over Special Buys! Lots of shoes and sandals - men's, ladies and childrens - all reduced to half price. Plus some toys, games and tools half price.
I can't live without Cheese Curls
I usually go to Aldi in Batley, they're extending the store at the moment so it's all a bit chaotic too. I went to the one on Elland Road this week and was overjoyed (i'm easily pleased)I've been buying the Bramwells Pearl Pickled Onions at 49p per jar in Batley but for the last few weeks, they haven't had them. To my delight, there were loads in the Leeds branch ! Of course i stocked up. I hope they don't stop doing them.

.
I know the feeling! Already one day without a pack and I am having withdrawal symptoms!! Quavers just don't compare! I hope this is only a temporary absence!"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"0
