thanks vpb23 and travellingabuela, :j
produce, not chiller
I was on the wiki link posted by tera-ferma, for a while last night trying to get to grips with it, but the links on the wiki pages end up sending you every where, but did see the apple stickers that had a number on when I shopped at Tesco and that they are the plu code.
I only wanted to know what the yellow box meant meant originally, ill be an authority of plu knowledge in a bit.:rotfl:
Universal Product Code, another system for identification of consumer products
Stock-keeping unit (SKU) codes, another system
then I got looking into those 2.0 -

Oh, I see, sorry. No, I knew exactly what Skitler meant when he referred to PLU codes and bar codes“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -
Is this week the voucher week? The tablet is back does any one have one and is it any good.Bet you you have to camp out to be first in queue. Quite fancy one to carry around instead of note book. I know Tesco's good but will never save enough points.:)Death comes to us all. When he came to Mort, he offered him a job. MORT by Terry Pratchett.0

Yup, voucher on Thursday.
OH took his 24 yr old Aldi Single Malt to our friends last night - friend is now going to bring himself to buy the Mirror for the voucher on Thursday to buy a bottle for himself. :rotfl:Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?

I got a couple of craft books for my mum today in aldi, one was a crochet book with a decent amount of patterns plus a beginners guide to crochet as well, plus another craft book, rag rugs etc. There was one I didnt buy, it was a jewellery making one, plus there was a cupcake making book. RRP 9.99, got them for 2.99 each, will ask my mum for the name of them incase anyone thinks they might want to buy them.0

Lidl seem to be learning the "big boys" bad habits. Strathvale fresh British beef roasting joints. On the offers page of the website, the price is shown as £5.99 each. However, click on the picture and go to the product page and the price is £5.99 per kg.If you fold it in half, will an Audi A4 fit in a Citroen C5?

thanks for the reminder for the voucher on Thursday.
I was saying on another thread that the aldi ee spuds are better than the maris piper spuds from aldi, the m-p spuds went all watery and mushy in the pan before mashing, I tried to not boil the second lot as much but wasn't much better.
also the baby new type spuds that was on the super 6 last week were not that nice, just flavourless.
the super 6 oranges are nice though, im not a orange fan but they peeled easy and where very juicy.0 -

I picked up some small oranges in Co-op last week and they also had very think skins but were incredibly juicy and flavoursome so maybe it's a particular variety that is currently available.“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -
