My two cats both love the Aldi wet cat food. They do prefer the premium version tho0

Aldi don't sell golden syrup. Not a biggy, but we live on this stuff
I know Lidl do Tate and Lyle, but will stick to Tesco value as the tins aren't 7 year old friendly.Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?

I bought 2 packs of 2 scotch eggs in Wells Lidl reduced by 30% on 15th March. The first pack was fine. I opened the second pack 12 hours after the Use-by date of 17th March and had to spit it out. The manager pointed out that if I had eaten it before the use-by date it would have been OK. The whites of the egg were corrugated, slightly brown and impossible to chew. I keep hens and ducks and their eggs do not go from being OK to being indigestible in 12 hours flat. If he had said that he could do nothing due to it being past use-by date - fair enough - but to give me a load of !!!!!!!! is inexcusable! So, according to him, 1 minute past the use-by date makes the item inedible?:eek:0

Yes, bought a bag of fresh spinach the other day.“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -
Same here. The fresh spinach is bagged and with the bagged salads in the chiller. I've never seen it with the fresh veg. That's probably why you haven't seen it, it's not sold in 'bunches'. It is very good though.
For serum fans, my Aldi had all three of them back in stock.
I am very happy. Wasn't looking forward to shelling out fifteen quid for something half as good.
No Ginger Nuts still. Bourbons now in packs of mixed biccies but not solo. Ah well.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0 -
