We just had the Salmon Wellington (with White wine and Prawn sauce) for dinner tonight with some green beans and broccoli that I bought to use for Christmas dinner and didn't need to use, been kept as it comes in the garage and it's not deteriorated at all.
I was just saying to DH earlier we spent more at Aldi than Tesco this Christmas we had people round for New Year and things like the Melton Mowbray Pork Pies went well.0 -

Aldi Moser Roth Chocolate collection demolished tonight by OH and I.
Wouldn't buy again - too many flavours we tolerate in there, not too many chocs we like.Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?

I would go as far to say it tastes better than malibu as has a bit more coconut flavour and at £5,15 a bottle I need to be careful not to make it too regular a purchase
Sorry should really have mentioned it is an Aldi purchase!
Drink it with pineapple juice. It has a Pina Colada taste to it.0 -
I don't like Aldi's white rum. Does not taste right. It you guys need to get white rum when Bacardi is not on offer - Sainsburys own is good. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

We had from Aldi the other night Pepper salmon with mustard dressing - very good value at £1.99 - was delicious and very mustardy in a good way!I love food, hate waste and have a penchant for sparkly things ::D
Trying to find a work life balance...:rotfl:0 -
My first dissapointment in ages with an aldi buy!
We had the frozen extra large battered haddock last night.
The fish had a strange slimy testure to it, and was an odd colour in places. Wont be buying it again.
Funny, because i like all the other frozen fish that we have tried, especially the thai fishcakes, and the hake ones with mustard sauce. They are really delish:)0 -

I will have to give these a try. They sound lovely.0 -
My dd loves the cinnamon bagels from aldi. They are slightly bigger than the branded new york bagels, and cheaper as well.:)

We love those too!
Especially the way they package them - 2 packets of 2 bagels. No need to eat them in one sitting to avoid staleness.Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?
