What a coincidence!

We asked about more towels and were told (correctly) that there were more above the cupboard that houses the fridge.

I love the touches like the water and fresh milk in the fridge, the decent selection of tea and coffee bags - and the bar of Pears soap, which I have to admit to bringing home with me...they beat the usual tiny bars of soap that you get in hotels!

Ah we where told about the towels but there where none in the bag just pillows. Yeah the pears came home with me too hehe otherwise they would have just bined it I bet as it was a fresh bar. Never used the milk though. I couldn't work out why you had 2 shower heads though.

LOL - I also took the soap home..... same theory.... I used it so they were only going to throw it away.

I used the little shower head to wash without having to get my hair wet! I didn't manage to use either shower without getting water all over the bathroom floor though...too exuberant use of the shower plus free soap I expect! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

anyone know when our credit cards will be charged for the accommodation?? i thought they took it at the time of booking but so far I havent been charged yet

all just hype....to catch attention of the frenzied people when they hear £1, £1, £1 !!!
And also, May be this was the perfect start Mr Taylor is looking for affiliating with MSE.
MSE is losing its credibility standing by this kinda fake promotions by word of mouth.

... interesting first post, especially since some people did get £1 rooms... so not sure how the promo is fake? Servers poor, but then again I have trouble with the Boots.com server most days and they're a much bigger company

Missed out on the £1 deal by a smidge, but opted for the £29 one (still a great deal for London at this hotel rating!) and am reaaaaaaaaaaaaaally looking forward to it

Please don't sign up just to insinuate that a deal is a fake unless you know it is, and i certainly wouldn't say MSE is loosing credability, it's still got plenty of cred in it have a look around, the deals are out there for finding
