We are taking inlaws to use their trip we bought them for christmas with tesco clubcard vouchers (£24 vouchers for trip for 2 on London Eye & Thames lunch cruise) Also got clubcard vouchers to use in Yates's for a meal - so all in all not too bad really! It's costing us more to travel there!
I'm just back from there and think it will be fine. We had rooms on consequetive nights which I had thought I'd bought under my name and my oh's- turned out they were both under his name- well it was all a bit frantic- and they were totally disinterested although they did notice they were both for a pound. You'll have a great time. Exit 3 from old street station.
Whoops- I see you've already been!0 -

I got back from there yesterday - was staying tuesday and wednesday night (£1 and £29 respectively).. Had a good stay but my bananas yesterday morning were both bruised badly so went in the bin - as I don't like the yoghurts they give out it meant no breakfast for me - but nevermind!0

officially not refundable, not transferable.
However many people sell travelodge room on ebay because it's all paid for and you don't need to provide ID.
Maybe others can comment on whether you need to provide id at the Hoxton (I suspect not).
I booked for my brother. When I booked I put a note on the booking to say it was for him. All I did then was e-mail the hotel and they sent me a form to fill out and fax back with my credit card details as you have to have the credit card used to make the booking for use over the stay.MFW 2019#24 £9474.89/£11000 MFW 2018#24 £23025.41/£15000

LOL - I also took the soap home..... same theory.... I used it so they were only going to throw it away.
ME TOO!! we spent ages trying to work out why you would need that little one!
Isn't the little shower head to wash your hair if you don't want a shower? That's what I'd use it for anyway!!MFW 2019#24 £9474.89/£11000 MFW 2018#24 £23025.41/£15000

Just got back from a £1 stay at the Hoxton last night. It was a quality hotel. The staff were all excelent and very friendly. Everything about the room was spot on and I definately will be staying there again on the next theatre trip we take.:T
The location is just around the corner from Old Street station (For anyone staying soon , take exit 3 when you get off the train)
Also about that little shower head, I explained it to my g/f who didnt want her hair wetting and then goes and switches on the overhead shower :eek:0 -
:j I have just had a lovely email for the Hoxton hotel (see below), most companies would just keep it. Best check your sunday rates as you may be in for a nice surprise. :j
Dear booker,
Great news!
We made a slight mistake when we launched our rates; the good news is that we have charged way too much for a Sunday.
We are writing to inform you that we will be refunding you £30.00 before your forthcoming stay with us at The Hoxton on Sunday 3rd June 2007
If you would like to discuss this with us or to confirm you reservation please call on 020 7550 1000 option 1 or drop us a note to reservations@thehox.co.uk
Thanks for your understanding and I can assure you that we will endeavour to avoid such mistakes in the future (Sorry)!
Kind regards,

Stayed there for £1 on Saturday night - was pleasant & fun, except for the old guy standing at a window facing ours eating his breakfast in the morning completely starkers! :rotfl:"I am not Geoff Vadar, I'm Darth Vadar"0
