We too were there this weekend, had a fabulous time. We ate at the Cantaloupe (on the Hox guide) and also at the Hoxton Square Bar and Kitchen, both were really great atmosphere. Enjoyed the cocktails in the Grille restaurant at the Hoxton and also the fry up at £8.50. My DH noticed the cafe a few doors down did brekkie for £3 lol but we didnt try it.

£1 sale starts on 28th June 9am. 500 rooms at £1 and 500 at £29.
On the 28th June at 9am our summer sale will start. We will be releasing 1000 bedrooms, 500 at £1 and 500 at £29, available only on our website between the 1st July - 30th September.
During our last sales we sold over 1300 rooms (slight software error), we had over 100,000 people trying to book the rooms and all 1300 sold out within 19 minutes. Because of this amount of traffic you may not get a room for either a £1 or £29, we are sorry, and we will have other rooms on sale starting from £59. We also try to make the sale as fair as possible and you are only allowed to book one room, for one night at a £1; if we find anyone misbehaving they will lose all their bookings.
This time our software has been improved (thank you Tech support) but unfortunately, due to the way our software works, the room is not yours until you receive a confirmation number. Just noticed the £30 sunday rate today and have booked in. It must runs through November as well as the date is for November...
