Boots sale

hmmmm from past experiences I have a feeling he or his type probably reads this forum (hello to Mr. greedy blue bag gonna put it on Ebay/car boot man) and dash to the shops/online sales. I think a lot of people view and run and dash for things that are reported on here (fair enough, its not the law) without ever contributing.
Its unfair and not very nice thing to do but that's the way of greedy folk.
So time for a big thanks to those who do report the bargains, even though the silently selfish win the race.0 -
I was at the trafford centre about 3pm and popped in to check - Loads of empty shelves (labels being put in for suncream etc). There was a few of those carousel things, but hardly anything else.
(There was loads and loads of half price kids clothes.)
I had already been to Regent Road (??) and Cheetham Hill stores and they were great with plenty of stuff still there.
Thank you. That's very helpful re the Trafford Centre. May pop into Regent Road tomorrow if I am going past, just in case...!0 -

Many thanks for that, wasn't much in Truro last week when popped by, so think I will save my pennies, doubt they would have stocked up anymore0 -
I managed to get to Kingston Milton Keynes for 8.30 (opening) it was so quiet - me and two other ladies had a good selection to pick from.
Grabbed 2 x Hello Kitty Nail Varnish Tins, 2 x Accessorize Perfume Gift Sets, a Fearne Cotton Make Up Bag Set, a huge Gok Wan Set (Mothers Day) and the Fearne Cotton Make Up Brush Set.
Then off to Bletchley Store for 9am opening and wow, totally different story - the shop was rammed with trolleys and couples operating in a military style! Managed to grab the last mens brown Hackett washbag for Fathers Day, 2 x mens S&G sets, 3 x No7 sets which had 3 full size products in (including the amazing shower oil - mmm!), 2 x blue eyed girl frontcover sets, a Hannah Montana set for DD.
Pretty pleased... overspent, but nothing like giving a nice gift and seeing the smile on their faces. I love being this organised!Love Sophie xxxx

original payment £459.67, new payment £550.00
overpaying by £90.33 ( reduces term to 21yrs !!)
Saved over £11K in interest so far WOOHOO!!
Were not rich just paying off tiny bits here and there.0 -
Got to 2 very small stores today and got a few good things which will do for teacher presents and stocking fillers. These included:
2 x Sanctuary Miniature Sets that were £2.50 each
1 x Sanctuary Box Set for £4
1 x Sanctuary Gift Bag Set for £4.50
3 x Miniature Lipglosses for £1.50 each
1 x S&G handwash/handcream for £2.50
1 x Sanctuary handwash/handcream for £2.50
Wish I had not been working and got to a larger store, but still pleased and who knows might be lucky tomorrow.
Thanks to everyone who has kept us updated with their purchases today. Glad you have saved on gifts for the year.:j0 -
I got to my local store about 10 minutes after opening and it was busy but civilised. There was plenty of stock and I got exactly what I wanted. I was particularly pleased to get the Christmas cards I'd had my eye on, there were only two packs the other day but I didn't want to pay half price, so it was a pleasant surprise to see both packs still on the shelf this morning.
I took a Britney Spears Fantasy perfume set to the counter to see if that was going through at 75% off, I couldn't see a ticket for it and it was abandoned on top of some Bobby Pin sets, but it was still going through at 50%. The assistant said there was a section of 50% perfume sets so I told her I'd found it among the 75% off items, and the lady queuing behind me said she'd also got some sets that she'd randomly found on shelves, but they didn't reduce them any further.0
