Great haul freddie, good to see pics. I got some birthday presents and bits and bobs. Might have to have another look tomorrow to see what's left!

Didn't get into Plymouth store until this afternoon, but am really pleased with the few bits I did manage to get - my teenaged daughter had been keen on a pair of PJ's that were £24 and I got them for £6.
    :DPlease, pretty please!:D

I went into our local store and it was quite busy - there was quite a lot of FCUK things, looooads of Sanctuary things in different sizes, lots of birdcage mirrors, some Boots Royal Jelly sets, Christmas cards and some No 7 sets in a small blue clutch-type bag. We just bought a Sanctuary set for the other half's Mum for her birthday in November, as she loves the stuff.
  • But did ok. Went to the Castle Mall Boots, Norwich at 11.10am. Shelves were nearly empty but staff were great and customers polite, spent £21.00. One great bargain was a Project D handbag with 5 products, down from £35.00 to £8.50. Went to London Street Branch in the afternoon and spent another £16.50 but have now got 7 or 8 birthday and Christmas pressies sorted. Will try Chapelfield tomorrow, but doubt if anything left.
    Thank you Boots xx
  • Does anyone know if Truro or Hayle Boots have any stock? Couldnt be bothered to venture out today but may tomorrow if anything around... Many thanks in advance
  • I went to Peterlee today, not alot left but I got a Hannag Montanna perfume set for dd for £2.50 nstead of £10 and a cocoa butter set for me for £4 instead of £16 so I'm quite happy

I was unable to get into store early as my OH got stuck behind an accident on the way home from work so was not able to look after my newborn and toddler while I went! I managed to pop in quickly around 1pm by which point most of the stock had gone, a lot of the boxes had been ripped open and stuff taken out, I cannot believe that people do that and spoil a potential purchase for someone. People had baskets full but did not seem to be going too mad but I was told at the till that at 8.30 people were pushing each other around! I did manage to pick up a Joules bucket but only noticed when I got home that the body butter had been whipped! I also managed to pick up the Sanctuary pamper bag x 2 and 2 pretty mugs on a tray x 2. The only toy that was left was a ELC push along car!

Tania-jo, was there much left in Plymouth today?!
  • Was at watford first thing, and some bloke was putting through the till about 20 of the big blue bags of stuff. One of the bags was full to the brim of dove sets - looked like about 30 sets in that bag alone.

This is the worst I have ever seen of someone taking everything and the staff did not seem bothered (probably just want to shift it). It just seems unfair on others who shop at boots throughout the year and deserve a little january bonus ;)

Like someone said if people cant get there at opening they miss out because of these greedy people

I was also there first thing and saw this guy too. I think I may have accidentally helped myself to one of the big blue bags he had piled up at the start of his shop as it wasn't until I saw him going back to the pile that I realised they were being used! :o

I wish I had bought more as I'm really pleased with some of the stuff I got, am very glad my hours at work were changed today so I didn't have to be in until 12! Was debating whether to walk back into town or not once I got home (I'm only a 5-10min walk from town) but decided to have a cuppa instead, really wish I had gone back. I'm going to pop in after work tomorrow and see if there is anything left, as I still have loads more presents I need throughout the year!
