I now have four, got two just after christmas and two more today, I love the breakfst scrub and ive been wanting new aprons (one for home, one for uni and a craft on, so these were ideal. The hand food may end up on ebayThanks to everyone who posts competitions0 -

No rush or panic and no-one buying ' it all ! ' Staff were even still putting stuff out.
I waited outside for them to open, it was nice and civilised, there was a bit of a false start when the manageress made a call for everyone to come in, but she meant the staff to the shop floor, she got a bit flustered and clarified she meant the staff not the customers and everyone calmly went back outside. :rotfl:0 -
Went to my boots in peterborough- absolout rubbish- all shelves cleared except some cranberry soap bars- about 50 of them, and some xmas cards- needless to say my bank balance is quite happy!:kisses2::j:heart2:0

I had a barney with a woman who kept shouting "excuse me" despite there being nowhere for me to move to. An Asian man was squashing people and punshed someone in the face with a box of sanctury stuff.0 -

This is the worst I have ever seen of someone taking everything and the staff did not seem bothered (probably just want to shift it). It just seems unfair on others who shop at boots throughout the year and deserve a little january bonus
Like someone said if people cant get there at opening they miss out because of these greedy people
My dad was rushed to hopital on Christmas Eve and was thrilled to bits to get a boots smelly set for a pressy from the hospital Santa on Christmas Morning. Apparently they get to go first and get what they want from the 75% sale and they do it every year-seems fair enough ! So could be for a good cause -you never know!0 -
started this morning at birminham bull ring, loads of shelves full, but no s&g and sanctuary. then went to high street, shelves almost empty although i did manage to get 2 sanctuary sets but the boxes were all damaged - i only wanted the contents. then on to new street - rubbish, shelves almost empty but the few things they did have weren't damaged. back home for a cuppa - then onto merry hill, again a few full shelves but all the same stuff. did get a hamper tin that i wanted though. and then great bridge, shelves there were stripped at 8 this morning and only managed to get a gadget for my dad. none of the stores had many gadgets - mainly all smellies and food. dont know how i managed it but i still spent £130 in total and dont seem to have got as many presents as i usually do.
still need to get loads of pressies but at least it's made a small dent for next christmas0 -
Glad everyone got some good bargains my local store was hectic but everyone was being polite.
I managed to pick up several sets a Sanctuary, Gok, and 2 Botanics sets
I had hoped there would be more kids stuff in the sale all I could find was lots and lots of red slipper socks!Always on the lookout for a great deal, bargain, or unmissable offer! :j

I went with my mum after I had finished work about 1:30 ish...it was still madness and the staff said that it was actually quiet to how mad it had been.
Got a few bits of the that I wanted such as the candle making set and make up bits, but not a lot left! But I would have like some of the pj's but just had large left and even then they were open.
One of the ladies on the tills was almost crying when she was telling my mum about some of the people that she had encounted, blocking aisles so no-one could get down, coming with lists and just sweeping shelves of stuff into baskets.
I was also surprised to see the amount of ripped boxes and empty bags where people had taken the stuff that was inside the bag and just left it. Still quite a few of the extracts range left, but not many!Wins for 2022: Hydratem8 Water bottle, diary, flowers, Good food show tickets, childrens books x3,
Thanks to all who post the comps & please let the comping fairy sprinkle dust on my entries!0 -
All quite civilised in Maidstone today. At around 10am the Chequers Centre branch had lots of the S&G tins with aprons, red Sanctuary sets and Kiss Me Quick sets. There were quite a few Front Cover sets and some pink laptop cases that I've not seen before. The only No7 I saw were the sort of oval eyeshadow compacts.
There wasn't much in the Fremlin Walk branch (well, it is smaller) but they did have a few things which the other branch did not have. They had quite a few of the Liberty Print bags. I just bought one of the Kiss Me Quick sets, for the bag not the contents, and commented that there didn't seem to be as much this year. The SA told me they had earlier had some people in filling their bags, taking them to their car and coming back for more. The most I saw anyone carrying was 3 of the blue baskets full of stuff.0
