I really like the chicken card, the font of the peel-off works really well with the style of the card.
Sometimes you just have to leave well alone for a bit. I'm terrible for trying to amend cards as I go!!0 -
macma I love the chicken card
Don't think you need to change anything
Had a hell of a day today and the only good thing that has come out of it is that I've been able to make some cards. I've blobbed one of them but the rest are on my FB page0 -
Thankyou so much for taking the time to have a look.
J is a special friend, only known her a short time but she's very special so her card has to be right.thanks again for your comments0 -

Hi guys, i need some basic guidance on rubber stamping, not sure if this is the correct forum, if not, pls point me in the right direction.
I have a small sheet of free stamps that came with a magazine, do i cut each out and attach each one to an acrylic block or is there a way to buy just one block and interchange the stamps0 -

I assume the stamps are clear 'jelly like' plastic? In which case they will 'cling' to the acrylic block as & when you want to use them. So in short....one block will do for all as they just peel off when you've finished. Also, in case it helps I clean the ink off mine with baby wipes.
Oops!just seen dragonl beat me too it!
Macma - your card looked good to me. But I also understand how you feel, the more important the person/event the worse my card seems to go and like FF said, I can't resist the one last tweak that usually seals the disaster for ever:eek: Really special people usually get 2 cards as I've bought a 'just in case' one too.
Padster - hope you've got the sewer sorted now - I agree with Wifey on the stress of moving being on a par with weddings, divorce, bereavement etc so sending calming vibes for you.
rainmac - hope you enjoyed your Legoland trip & well done on your garage sales.
CGC - that's the sort of thing that happens to me but I blame it on my age!
I had lots to do this morning but between a long phone call & visitors it didn't happen so I've now got a busy afternoon............0 -
thankyou dragonlew and marg. Phew! that really helps. Yes they are the clear, jelly thing type of stamps. I was worried about the cost of buying acrylic blocks for each free stamp, that would totally defeat the frugality of free stamps for me lol0

Welcome Malzu21, errmm Frugality is not a word you will find mentioned very often on this thread
:)
I have been busy knitting recently, some baby jackets for a charity thread, but have just received my Barbara Gray stamp of the month so am playing with that, her stamp club challenge this month is "black and white only, 3 cats and a bird" boy does she make it easy!! but I am having such fun playing with different ideas. so far none of them have workedso back to the drawing board

thanks for your support - hubby is now convinced the sewer is less than 3 metres from the house as our drive is only 4 metres (in his opinion) wide!!!
DD and I got the tape measure out and it's at least 8 metres - just shows the age old mens measurement problems are alive and kicking even if in reverse in our house LOL!
DD and I spent the morning at a tabletop sale and made a few pounds but more importantly emptied 3 boxes of stuff :TOfficially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended
