    LOL!

I'm sure if you thought hard enough - a marathon? Walking to the top of Snowdon? Completing a degree? Setting up a company selling your crafts? Learning sign language? Passing your motorbike test? Learning greek?

There must be SOMETHING you'd like to have a go at?

sean is right all you need is a challenge, a goal to aim for, voluntering you could do or the more adventurous red letter day type things, open university, save to travel and mark where you would love to go and plan it

I've got the same kind of life as you but I really enjoy watching tv, going on the laptop and reading. I had a job as a teaching assistant and was really bored with it, I don't think I was suited to it. I am now doing admin and am much happier. Maybe its your job you need to change. However, you also probably need to get out more. My social life has really improved since my son joined a band and we go to watch him play gigs. I also go to the cinema quite a bit. Just those two things make a difference.

hmmm - you know my OH loves the routine stuff - he actually gets antsy if I want to watch something on tv rather than go shopping at 4.30pm on the dot every Thursday! He likes to live in a rut - I like to have a bit of novelty and variety in life!
so do something different - dont knit! read about someone elses adventures!
dont go on the laptop - have a bath with bubbles (I mean champagne - ok Lambrini)!
just mix it up! its being in a rut thats getting to you I think!

Challenge by dieting? Online or at a club meeting weekly?
Spreadsheets of how your debt is coming down, become obsessive about seeing the money owed come down?

    How old is your daughter?

My OH used to work nights (he works away 3 weeks out of 4 now.....not sure which is worse tbh) and it is pretty boring.

Do you drive? And do you have your own car? Or is it gone with him to work?

OP never said she wanted to lose weight. Some people are happy being fat (or at least, not bothered enough to diet)

I have no helpful suggestions but I just wanted to let you know you're not the only one to feel bored. I've been feeling that way a lot lately but I think it has a lot to do with my mood (which has been very low of late).
