Nearly 20 weeks and I still have morning sickness
fed up of puking now. Probably explains the weight loss too. Baby seems to like me puking as is now having a wriggle x
You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

I'm hoping it'll still be warming this evening so we can sit in the garden and not need to tidy the house so muchseems the more I tidy the more mess I make lol.
He is awesome, we saw his "cat that looked like Nicholas Lindhurst" tour two years ago and it was so funny I was crying! So looking forward to it although it won't take much to set me off giggling, I seem to have giggling fits at the drop of a hat these days
I hope you get to sit out in the garden this evening.

You never know you may be lucky and not need it. i'm rhesus negative so had to have anti-d at 28 weeks but when Katie was born they took blood (I think from the cord) and it turns out she is also rhesus negative so i didn't have to have anti-d after she was born.0 -
Sexymouse - i thought Aaron was a girl, I felt so strongly Id bought some girly clothes rofl! When we asked at the scan she said 'i thought i saw something' and my heart sank because i knew it was a boy then. Now he's here i cant believe I ever wanted a girl. He's so laid back and everyone tells me thats boys. Now for my next 2 I reallu want boys, theyre awesomeThe frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0

Thanks for all of the reassurance about my disappointment after the sex was revealed at my scan ladies. I've been trying to come to terms with it by thinking about all of the lovely baby boys I've looked after in my teens and younger (neighbours' children), and how affectionate they were, as well as looking specifically at boy clothes in town today (couldn't bring myself to look at them yesterday). Of course my cat is a boy, and he's definitely a Mummy's boy - even more so at the moment now I'm pregnant. I've read a bit online today that it actually has a name - gender disappointment. I felt really guilty yesterday too, as my Mum said that the baby would be able to sense I didn't want him as I was probably all tense inside, as well as the fact that I was lucky I could have children at all, and I felt awful - of course I want him, it's just my dreams of having a daughter and all of the things that I would do with her, have been lost (I don't know if Moon and I will have any more children in the future), and it's a sort of grieving process for what might have been. I really hope that my honesty in this post doesn't upset or anger anyone on this thread - it's just that I found it really helpful to hear of other people's experiences and how they came to terms with everything.Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170

LMM I've got a bump-loving cat too - she likes it when I lay down, she lays across me on what is the underneath of the bump when I'm standing up (if that makes sense?!), and leans in towards to bump as much as she can. She then purrs, which sets baby wriggling, and the cat sits there with a blissful look on her face while getting a pummelling from bump!!0

Oh I'm pooped. Might have pushed a bit too hard today. Took my little one to a country park and the walk down was longer than I thought as we got the train up the hill. Well the pain on the way down was like my right leg had come out of its socket. Home now on sofa. Nearly bed time for little one. Might have a bath tonight. Sooooooooo achey and tiredlove you lots like jelly tots0

Happy sunny saturday everyone!
we're feeling good here as bought, via an old friends facebook and a visit today, a fancy Mamas and Papas travel system for £50! only 2 yrs old and looks a bit like this http://www.mamasandpapas.com/product-sola-2-in-1-denim/103524401/type-i/ Its at my mums house so can't look at the exact model but as we had only a budget of £100 and its our last thing left to get, I can't believe we got a carrycot, car seat and toddler whatever it called, stroller? it's awesome... we move 1st june so should be able to get it back to practice then as had to take wheels off to fit in boot, oops! problem with only one car that is a small fiesta
midwife appt - 25 week - friday was cool. heartbeat was really strong and fast and my bump was measuring at 27 weeks which is interesting but midwife said its probably just a growth spurt as i still dont look too bumpy/big. she also said re: group b strep that i will get swabbed this week and then closer to the time but wont have the antibiotics in labour as they stopped doing that a couple of years ago?! probably just wales but funny, that.
have a good weekend all, have z busy week ahead but will try and lurk
p.s. sexymouse, you are not a bad person and glad you can be honest here. we also would have preferred a girl though the look on hubbys face showed he was more than happy with a girl. getting a cool batman outfit in asda helped me plus my hubbys baby pics are gorgeous

Sexymouse, I was relieved when I was told I was having a boy. I didn't even realise I had any preference. But now the thought of a girl FREAKS me out. I have no idea what to do with one. :rotfl:Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25
