Nooo don't say that, I want her to be a corrie fan like her Mummy!!
How wonderful for your OH to feel baby kick for the first time, I still remember my husband feeling Poppy for the first time, he couldn't stop grinning either!! Just sit with your OH's hand on your belly all night just in case, that's what we use to do!! :rotfl::heart2: Newborn Thread Member :heart2:

DH just felt the baby kick for the first time

:T Yay! That's so cool!
Good luck nutella (I'm a bit behind the times but just in case you happen to log on whilst in labour...!)
Labour vibes to everyone else - seems like we've got a baby flurry on its way!
Re stretch marks, I had none until 2-3 weeks ago, and now the whole middle third of my tummy from bikini line up to about 3inches about my belly button is covered in red zebra stripesI've been religiously rubbing Bio Oil and Palmers Cocoa Butter in throughout, too
To a large extent, I think, it's just luck of the draw and depends on your skin type. Hoping mine will fade away afterwards...
Re TENS machines, I decided to buy one if I could get a good make for less than £20 on ebay. Won the Mama tens a few days ago for £19.50 including P&P, hopefully it'll arrive soon. If I have a natural birth, I intend to use it at home in early labour. Should be able to sell it for not far off what I paid for it anyway.
My health visitor is visiting me tomorrow...is that normal elsewhere in the country?! It hadn't occurred to me that I'd meet her until after I've had the baby!
In the afternoon I've got an obstetric physio appointment, who will hopefully help me a bit with my hip, back and carpal tunnel...(I'm gradually falling apart in the last week or so!)
Have got the whole day off work tomorrow so after the physio I might head to Primark to look at nighties and granny pants!Rock and roll.
Bellola, you definitely shouldn't feel you have to take holiday for all your appointments! With the exception of tomorrow, I've not made up time for any of mine. I have, where possible, tried to make them at times that aren't so time-consuming, i.e. on the way to or from work rather than in the middle of the day, but it doesn't always work out that way.
DH is out tonight so my mum came over to do the moxibustion for me...bl0ody hell it stinks! The whole house smells like a drugs den - despite all the windows being open. It made me feel sick and gave me a sore throat...and I'm still not confident in it working anyway, seems stupidHave lit a fruity-smelling candle to try and disguise the smell a bit.

BB I can't remember who but someone else on here had their health visitor come round before the baby came. Guess it depends where you live.
Might look on eBay for a tens machine. I think you can sell them on pretty easily.

Our little girl was born on Sunday at 2:36pm weighing 7lb 8oz, so not as tiny as we were led to believe, waters went on friday night, was given the OK to go to sis' wedding church only but was in early labour and probably shows on her pics :O Sunday am went in fully dilated after staying at home probably too long but the pain was bearable apparently she was very nearly a home birth! Ventouse delivery and some trouble with feeding but we came home after 2 days, am knackered but delighted!0 -
Congrats Amymo any news on a name? Glad she's feeding better and you're both home

guys,
i posted something on fb earlier that i remembered from being a kid, and it was relevant to a friend. It made me laugh out loud again so i though i'd share with youit has to do with people not being tolerant of peoples sexuality etc,..
oh dearI'd be fuming too! I'm really lucky that everyone In my family are tolerant of everyone. My dad raised me on jerry springer.. lol saying (and I remember this conversation very clearly) " I don't care if you fall in love with a man or a woman, or if they are black, white ,purple with green spots,. As long as no one is hurting anyone else then thats ok. HOWEVER that man on right now (pointing at a man on jerry springer on the tv) He ISNT ok he's mentally ill. It's NOT OK TO MARRY A HORSE!!"
(i was about 10 i think!) xxx
