Oh gosh miss money maybe we could all come round, cue 30 hormonal pregnant women he won't know what has happened! Sorry I don't really have any (useful) advice, but at least you have us lot to rant to. But on the positive side at least you've one pain in the a*se sorted now the constipation has resolved

I can't think who asked about maternity leave. My original plan was similar. I was going to leave end of July using annual leave of two weeks and maternity leave starting at 36 weeks. My thinking was I need a few weeks of "me" time before becoming a mum and having a little person being no1. Hopefully have some nice weather to wash all the baby clothes etc.
Gemma maybe it's too early, but I'm not fretting about the actual birth as yet. I don't know but maybe have a bad experience is worst than no experience if you know what I mean? Maybe OH doesn't want to get panicked? I don't know but now after what the consultant said on Tuesday OH is beginning to worry I may actually die in childbirth and it has out a bit of a downer on it all for now. Again we're always here to listen to each others worries/problems etc
Emsbet how do you do the list? Is it quite easy? I'm on an iPad so hoping it can be done. then I could maybe help out with it?

Right bedtime here. This cat has made me laugh though. I curled up with the iPad catching up so she went to sit on OH. But he's obviously not as comfy she sat there for a couple of mins before coming to sit on my calf. Odd cat!

Hugs for your toe, hopefully it'll feel better in the morning. Maybe your LO is excited with all the shouting? Or can feel you're upset? I can feel bubba moving loads but OH still can't feel anything. Feels like if i put my hand on my tummy I can feel it on the outside. looking forward to when he can feel it too, think he feels a bit left out sometimes.

LMM and anyone else who wants to know it's really quite easy to do the list. You just find the last time it was posted and quote it.

• Remove the

  from the beginning and end.

• You then need to bold anyone who's due date it is.
• Move anyone who's given birth and add their details to the birth list.
• Also move anyone who's EDD was more than 2 weeks ago to the too tired list.
• To add someone you just need to put [ * ] (no spaces) then their name,EDD and team in italics. To do team blue you need to type : m a l e : (without spaces) and : f e m a l e : for team pink. Team yellow you put a ? and then highlight it and change the colour to yellow.
• Remove anyone from the birth list who gave birth more than 2 months ago

It sounds complicated but it isn't really at all it's just remembering all the bits. Usually it will just be adding people or adding births if I can't get to my iPad in the day as I will update the list first thing in the morning (because I'm sad like that and like to know its done ) I can do it from my phone but I'm so used to my iPad now that using the smaller version in the phone really bugs me! I really should have just got a cheaper phone this time

Thanks, lol. I'm becoming slowly accustomed to the idea, but am having some CRAZY egg dreams at the moment. But a few hours ago I was dreaming that I was carrying one of my twins around in my hands, but it was like a massive goose egg without the shell. Third time in a week I've had egg dreams. I don't remember doing this before!

As for advice, probably the best advice I can give is to tell you to ignore all advice that you haven't asked for. Every baby is different and what works for one won't work for another, but damn, people will still try and make you do what they did. It can become quite disheartening when people inflict their conflicting advice on you- YOU know your baby best, follow your instinct!

jenny congtatulations! My vote is for brody, very unusual!
elelyn my boss asked me other week about maternity leave, said I was planning to work as far up to my due date as possible because mp is so rubbish! But did say it would depends on how I felt nearer the time. Got three weeks annual leave left so planning to use that as near as possible. Have joked with my co-workers that I'll prob go into labour at my desk, I'm only woman in my dept so think it would be their worst nightmare!
missmoney big hugs to you chick. Everyone has given such great support already on here but wanted to let you know I'm thinking of you too. My oh drives me mad with housework, we both work full time but I'm the only one that does washing up, tidying, washing and ironing etc. to be fair, he is doing a lot of overtime at mo and his job is very physical so he is shattered when he gets in. he says it's only til this project is finished at end of this month, but we'll see! Spent all yesterday morning cleaning up whilst he was at work, then he got in had a shower and just left his dirty clothes lying on the floor. Grrrrr! Back to you tho mm, would normally ask if there is someone you could go and stay with for a little while but appreciate that this may not be practical at the moment. It doesn't sound right though, and with the things he is saying to you, he knows he has financial control and seems to be using this against you which isn't on. He should be supporting you, not condemning you. Do you think it's because it's his first child? Perhaps he feels a bit out of his depth because this is all new to him and you've done it before? It's no excuse but may explain why he's being such a so-and-so! Stay strong and hope it all gets better soon. X

No news here - luckily no work this morning, so I can bid on something on ebay that I've had on my watch list for a few days - keep getting outbid at the very last second on every one I bid on, so fingers crossed that as this one ends mid-morning that I get it.

thankyou for everyones support, i feel so carppy. I braved it and went to bed finally at 1am. He hadnt got to sleep properly so got told to " turn off the light on your phone and shut up" I eventually droppped off at around 2. alarm got me up at 7am. got the kids up/dressed/did hair/breakfast etc. oh came down at 7.45 to say he wanted ALL kitchen pots clean/surfaces washed/table in lioving room washed/tv screen clean. And it has to be spotless. :mad: he then proceeded to ask me what was my problem?! as I wasnt talking to him!! i said i dont have a problem. he told me i do, that i'm lazy and rude.i'm so angry with him i don't know what to say, so i don't say anything. He then took dd to school saying don't contact me, only if you get labour pains!! HAHAHAHAHA!! I can tell you now if i go into labour today he will be the very last person to know about it! I'd rather do it alone than have him anywhere near me. i shan't be spending any time with him on a voluntary basis over the next week.

in other news... my toe is still throbbing!! I'm not brave enough to take the plaster off

baby news.. there is non! I've still got back pains though. spd is killing me groin is on fire
