Miss money, I'm just so cross for you, it's disgusting the way he's talking to you! My DH would never dare speak to me that way and if he did I'd be gone and wouldn't come back until he had had a serious think about his behaviour and done some major grovelling. I know that you're in a difficult situation at the moment been so close to birth and as others have said it maybe his anxiety about the impending arrival and him worring he's not prepared for what will happen that is making his behaviour worse (not that that's any excuse!), but if it continues I think it's something you need to maybe seek help about as its not good for you and the baby or your two girls either.
Please don't over do it trying to meet his demands because you'll only hurt yourself and it's not worth suffering more pain than you already do for a spotless house.

    xx

Thanks ladies. I'm just gonna do some tidying and sorting stuff out if I can, I went into town with my nan yesterday as she was the only person willing to spend any time with me and it nearly killed me to the point I've nearly pickled the bed this morning cos I couldn't get up lol.

Missmoney, do you have anyone local who could come give you a hand for a little while to tidy up or something? Don't try to do too much. Please look after yourself though and like I say if you feel it's going too far get out. My OH is weird and moans about cleaning now and then but he would never speak to me like Dan has to you xxx

Hello ladies  Hope you've all had a good bank holiday weekend

MissMoney - huge hugs today :grouphug: Forgive my bluntness, but I think the way your OH is treating you is appalling and bordering on abusive :( Do you have anyone in real life you can talk to? Someone suggested that getting some help for you both might be in order, I second that. Look after yourself.

Gemma - huge hugs for you too :grouphug:

Jenny - many many congrtaulations :happyhear What a wonderful birth story, so pleased for you. And one of your 3 names is the name me and DH are 99.9% agreed on for our little man! :)

Welcome millie :hello: oh and BB, I know excatly what you mean, despite all the pain I have been in, I love being pregnant and having a bump :) Can't believe I am 34 weeks on Friday though

Well, I'm feeling very pleased with myself at the moment - I have been able to delete my 'baby things to buy list' because we have everything now :D and the baby's room is all finished :D The only task I have left to do is washing all the baby's clothes which I'm saving for next week. Quick questions - do I need to wash the brand new shop stuff too? And I usually buy Tesco brand washing powder but several people have said to get fairy for that 'baby smell' - waste of money or good idea? Thanks ladies :)

Have dentist appointment soon then midwife and need to go visit my grandad - best get cracking! Take care xx

Personally I would wash the brand new shop bought stuff as it tends to have a coating to keep it looking nice and pretty in the shop.

Triangle, I think most people suggest to wash even brand new baby clothes, as sometimes they have chemical residues on them from the manufacturing process...? (or something!)

 you are scaring me with your organisation! Or rather I'm scaring myself with my lack of organisation! I'm 35 weeks on Thursday and haven't got everything I need, haven't packed my hospital bag, and haven't even begun to think about washing baby clothes - no point as it'd all get dusty again! Oh cripes this baby had better not come early....!

Off for my moxibustion this afternoon...should be interesting if nothing else!

Triangle, as others have said its best to wash the clothes as they put chemicals on them to make them look nice in the shop. I think it's recommended that you use a non-bio for baby's clothes as their skin is so sensitive.

Good luck with your moxibustion this afternoon BB

Triangle I don't really have anyone in rl to speak to about it. Ive suggested counselling before to him, as I said that the way we argue (and it isnt often maybe one in 6 months but its big) isn't normal.. he just said every couple argues. he thinks it's normal. I never argued with the ex husband so I find it totally alien to row with someone. ironic that he's my ex lol, he had the opposite problem, he was too laid back and couldn't hold down a job etc. anyway thats the last im going to say on the oh today as i'm bored of going round it in my own head so goodness knows how you lot must feel about me moaning on!

BB Iwashed all the baby clothes that came back to me from my sister (stuff dd's wore when they were babies :) ) I folded it all and stuck all the newborn stuff in a drawer in my room ready for night time changes etc. I will bring a small box of baby grows dowstairs for changes in the day. Im not in the lest bit organised though. all my homebirth stuff seems to have been moved into odd places by the oh. i havent a clue where the plastic sheeting is, ir the electric pump or buckets :/ the cot we have been given is STILL in bits and non of the girls furniture has been moved into their room, despite having the last 12 weeks saying "yes i'll do it at the weekend" and Im the lazy one :rotfl: Im half tempted to try and do it myself tbh oh and other bad news i cant find my gaviscon :(
my plaster is off my toe now and ugh yuck! my toenail is sort of hanging off!!!
