I've been eating all day today, but I bet I'll still wake up in the middle of the night for my toast fix... I'm currently eating a mango to try to make up for all the crap I've eaten today, but sadly fruit just can't compete with chocolate biscuits!...

i had heard that normal sized beddding dsoesnt fit the ikea cots - is this an urban legend?

I went yday and measured my mattress before. I was given it along with a cot so I'm not sure where it's from so could have been from Ikea originally. Anyway it measures 120x60 and the bedding in Ikea were that size. Mothercare have mattresses in that size also so looks to be be a standard size.

Did attempt to tackle the room that will be a nursery. Sorted loads out for the charity shop and all the baby clothes are in labelled bags according to size ready to wash nearer the time. But of course I overdid it and now am very sore, still it looks good :) had a nice long bath so feeling better. My house is always a mess and always disorganised. And to be honest if people don't like they don't have to visit. My excuse used to be that I work full time as does OH, was a part time uni student, had my sister's kids two evenings a week and had chronic health problems so s*d the housework it got done twice maybe three times a yr. of course now I'm off work, but OH gets very upset if I do too much homework as he wants me to sit down all day relaxing and watching tv. He's a sweetie really, I'm very lucky. But sitting here looking at mess all day does nothing for my manicness!

Can't believe it's so late where did the day go? OH has gone to the chippy for tea, I'm ready for bed.

Thought I would just pop in and say hello. I read every day but hardly ever post so am trying to post a little bit more often.

I am 21 weeks today I cannot believe how fast it is going, I have my abnormality scan on Tuesday and can't wait. It will be the first time my OH has seen the baby as he couldn't get the time off work to come to my 12 week scan.

He has just made me laugh.

Him - can I ask something but don't take it the wrong way (always a worrying sentence), will the baby be big?

Me - I don't know that's why I have to go for growth scans.

Him - I don't mean that way I mean will it be big?

Me - What do you mean big if you don't mean the overall size?

    Him - I mean a bit chunky.

Me - If I am overdue probably.

Him - No I mean with you being a bit ......

Me - Are you trying to ask if the baby will be fat because I am?

Him - Well not really I just meant will it be a bit chunky but if you want to put it like that.

At this point he got a bit huffy and put the football on. Bless him why not just come straight out with it we have been together long enough that I wouldn't take offence.

To be honest Kitten Pie the only time he mentions my weight normally is when I am complaining about it and he tells me he loves me no matter what. He really wasn't trying to hurt my feelings, that's why he got huffy when I mentioned the word fat. I am overweight and quite happy to admit it.

You are no doubt a lot slimmer than I am so if your OH said it to you I think you have every right to take offence :D.

I wouldn't assume that, I wasn't slim to begin with but 3 children in one year has definitely made me bigger. :D

My OH is similar and very nice about my weight even if I am not.
