Sounds like it to me alizee. That's exactly what mine looked like. I think it becomes a bit blood tinged when your cervix starts thinning out.

Mine was a smear of snot a couple of days before, then a bigger blob of snot with a couple of streaks of blood (like if you'd blown yer nose and inspected the contents of the hanky) the night things kicked off... was rather disappointed really - expected more of a plug and spectacular and I got a snotty pair of pants.Little miracle born April 2012, 33 weeks gestation and a little toughie!0

Oh dizzi your way with words is fantastic xDS1 born June 2000

Thanks for all the reassurance everyone
had my scan, midwife was wrong and baby is most definitely head down and deep in to my pelvis so looking good!! Also measurements are all within average range....could have hugged the sonographer!! But managed to restrain myself and me and OH had a McDonald's milkshake to celebrate ( didn't think a beer would be appropriate lol)
Emsbet, thanks for sharing the leggings link, they are super cheap so will be getting a pair - I've reached th point now where under bump jeans either fall down or put pressure on my bladder (have enough of that already thanks!), and my over bump jeans only reach halfway up the bump so cut in and I get sore. Think leggings are the only option left.
I am another self confessed bump-talker...I chat to it all the time, especially when in the car alonebut then I also talk to the cat a lot too...she meows back when I sing to her (the cat not the bump!).
Exactly 28 days until due date, am officially bricking it now, we don't have mattresses for either the Moses basket or crib (both hand me downs with no mattress inc) so am now panicking....but am overwhelmed by mattress choice and no idea what type to get - anybody got any advice?? Also as the crib is old (about 20yrs I think) the size seems to not be commonly available, argh!!!0 -
Turtlemoose, I'm still trying to figure them out. This link might help you.
I think my baby is a food monster. Every time I eat he starts wriggling about. I'm definitely going to have to take some food and maybe a sugary drink to my repeat scan.

They won't be in Moses basket that long so don't splash out too much on that one. We got a sprung one around £60 for first one and will be doing the same again.love you lots like jelly tots0

After weeks of having clear skin, I seemed to have broken out in spots again. I thought the second trimester was the blooming phase not the spotty teenager phase!

Hello ladies!
Well I hope everyone is having a good Wednesday! I miss my One Born Every Minute Wednesday nightsBeen watching series 1 on Netflix though to get my fix!
Lovely pictures Gin, what beautiful babies! Thank you for sharing the pics with usxx
Welcome Cheetarah!
Jovi, I'm exactly the same! OH has been sleeping on the sofa for the last couple of months because I've got terrible pregnancy snoring, I literally shake the house! I used to snore a little bit before I was pregnant but I would turn over onto my front and I would stop. Obviously cant do that now!
He's up at 5am too every morning, 6 days a week so he needs his sleep. We moved house 2 months ago and have ordered a bed for the spare room as his back is starting to suffer, it comes on Saturday. He never moans though, bless him! So I'm in bed at 10pm every night too, so he gets 7 hours sleep.
I hate it but its a means to an end. And every Sunday morning he crawls into bed about 8am and we spend a few hours in bed!!
Had midwife today, everything was ok except I'm measuring up at 35 weeks when I'm only 32
So have to have a scan next week to check little mans weight.
We're not too worried, what will be will be! She said if baby is big then I'll have a scan every 2 weeks to see how he's growing, if he's still getting too big then it may mean that he'll be here early and by C-section! Obviously don't want that but if thats what has got to happen then fair enough.
When she felt baby's position, she said he was head down already, in the proper position, but not right in my pelvis which is good as its too early for that! And that was the pains I was getting yesterday, I KNEW he had moved down!! The pain!
Re maternity clothes, I've mainly bought from H&M. Their leggings and jersey tops are great, and cheap! Their jersey dresses are only 7.99, lovely material and bright colours. I'm also still in lots on my non maternity clothes too, just wear them fitted! I'm a bump shower-offer and very rarely wear anything baggy, just feel nicer in fitted things!

Thanks for posting these Alize - just got 2! it was a mistake as i clicked too fast and then i thought, no, we need 2! who knows why?!
I've just spent far too long catching up and now have no idea what to say!
emsbet, I'm self employed and read I can apply for maternity allowance from 16 weeks before birth but only to start from 11 weeks. I'm only working 1 day a week though and course finishes in 4 weeks so hoping to work up until 10th, as my old job i left to become self employed kept me on a casual contract which is really great :money: as hubby is temporary staff and a student but also means im dreading filling out MA application. We have midwife next week at 25wks so i need to ask her for it then but to make things more complicated, we move 1st june so matb1 will have different address on and i hve to change doctors anyways... eep!!
gins, it was me that asked about italian influence. I still love the name and thank you so much for posting pics, they are beautiful! I hope you are all home soon!
our toaster has just broken but we have a sandwich toaster so day off friday might mean toasted tuna sandwich - yum! just have no cheese
on another note, we thought we'd missed an argos deal for 100 off our nursery set with mattress but no - it was still on there today so we have ordered and it had 38 waiting days so thankfully will come 12th june, the day before I'm 30 weeks!!
ooo and its my v day today, hence my selfishness posting all about me
hope everyone is feeling better! Im exhausted, we went to late night showing of avengers and i managed to stay awake until 1 (though got up an hour too late at 8am this morning - oops!)
will catch up properly later xx
