rakkibeth- im the opposite I'm finding i can cope on less and less sleep.. ie i have to get up loads in the night for wee's, taking dd to the loo, hot sweats, weird dreams etc, and yet i'm fine getting up in the morning. HOWEVER I'm aware im doing nothing during the day :rotfl: im sure if i was busier during the day then I would be knackered. I do have to go to bed at 10 though and i get up at 7... thinking about it the whole thing ive just written is a load of carp! cos at the weekend I can go to bed at 9pm (really tired) and then get up at 10am.. and STILL be tired.. so really im a batty preggers lady who hasnt a clue whats she's rambling on about and is forcing you all to read her mad ramblings! mwhahahah! :rotfl:Bad mother to 2!

(and I cleared out all my size 18s when I slimmed out of them last year, curses!) I got a pair of maternity jeans from M&P yesterday (comfiest things ever
) and I've just ordered some leggings from ASOS, but I think i'm going to need at least one more pair of jeans. Has anyone ordered any maternity bits from ASOS? How does the sizing come up?
In my experience Asos come out large! Dresses, leggings and tops. I wanted a dress for a wedding, they were like tents! Leggings were really comfy, but they kept falling down until I was properly pregnant- ordered in my normal size 12/14.Got married 13/11/10

Long Eaton had some when we were in there the other night (were avoiding the tram work traffic lights down at Bardills) - got the dress and fleecy top in there... Toton had the other stuff reduced when I was in there this morning.
Not that I live in various local Tescos - oh no.
Need to go to Sainsburys now - kid in the ward when we were in there had a Gruffalo babygro on and me and one of the staff were desperately trying to find out where it came from (midwife in question was changing this child's nappy and looking for the shop tag while doing it) - and it's there apparently... this MUST be purchased because I LOVE the Gruffalo.Little miracle born April 2012, 33 weeks gestation and a little toughie!0 -

Congrats on baby Harry!
Sorry to mishkanorman about your kitty cat - I'd be devesatetd if my little kitty passed away - even without pregnancy hormones!
Littlemissmoneysaver - a bump in the car is scary it gives you a fright doesn't it? Did you know you can get a contraption to lower your seatbelt? My friedn gave me one after I bumped my car and its really good.. I'm sure its called easysafe or something along that line. Seems to be various versions online though.
Gin - sounds like the twins are doing well.
Littlemiss - sorry you don't get to have the homebitth - take care.

My bump had hiccups last night - kept me awake last night for ages with a 'kick' in the same place every 2 seconds like clockwork for what seemed like aaaggges!0 -

Thanks Lola that's really helpful to know! I veer between 16/18 depending on the shop, but asos only seem to go up to 16 on most of their clothes. Will see how the leggings come up and then decide whether to get anything elseLittle monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160 -
Wow... that was a big catch up... about 30 pages!
I have a fab list here of fantastic tips for hospital bag, baby clothes, dinner ideas and things to do (dig out the sandwich toaster included on that one!!).
Nothing new to report here apart from that DH is away for 2 weeks on a work trip... he left yesterday morning and I was not looking forward to going home to an empty house and cooking for just myself an Bump... then my sister called and invited me over for a fab dinner last night. And I still got to bed at a reasonable time
What time do most of you go to bed now?
Much love and happy thoughts to everyone xxxx
So excited, my book of toasted sandwich fillings came yesterday and there are some brilliant ideas in there! There were things that I would never have thought of trying but it goes into detail about making (simple) bread and butter pudding, samosas, eggy sarnies, fruit filled goodies and all sorts in your sandwich toaster! just need the sandwich toaster to turn up and I'm away!
regarding sleep, I'm waking up around 3am at the mo and I'm wide awake! usually start to feel sleepy again around 5.30am when OH goes to work but then I have to get up by half six to get ready for work so i try to stay awake if i can! Not really been going to bed any earlier (I did in the first trimester, was in bed between 7 - 7.30am) and I do find that the lack of sleep isn't a problem at the moment but I'll see if that's still the case in another couple of weeks!
LMM/Emsbet - I've been looking at maternity tankinis too, don't want to spend a fortune cos I don't know how much use i will really get from it! I can't swim (long story!) but I do want to go to the aquafit classes at my gym. I've seen some good ones on ebay that I might bid for; most of the ones I have looked at are described as new or hardly used so I'm hoping they'll be good!
Charli - many congrats! Hope you are enjoying mummy cuddles!
Mishka - many hugs, I love my cats to bits and understand what it's like to lose one. x
Cheetera/Betty101 - hello to you! Loving the fact that i am actually going DOWN the list with all the new people joining the thread! Think I peaked at Number 56 at one point but that's the highest I've been so far!
Looking at furniture for the nursery cos I have been bitten by the shopping bug, but can't really get anything yet cos the house is still upside down! Keep telling OH we are never going to be ready but he insists I am worrying about nothing and it will all get done. Not sure when this miracle is going to happen - he is working long hours and is too tired to do anything when he gets home. have pinned him down on sorting out the heating this weekend though - he wants Central heating, I want electric heating so we are going to compare the two and get quotes and make a decision! From there, I can then actually get the rest of the house done! yay! :T0 -
Ok, here we go.

I go to bed about 10ish every night but thats more because OH has been sleeping on the sofa for last few weeks (a mixture of his snoring and my need to take up all the bed during the night
), he has to be up at 5am every morning for work so I go to be at 10 to let him get some sleep...I normally read for about an hour before sleeping though so actually sleep at about 11pm. I have to be up at 7am to get DS to school on time as he is terrible in the morning and it takes a good hour and a half to get him to get ready, have breakfast etc.
I haven't found myself needing naps yet (I think I scared myself out of them when I had one at about 25 weeks and woke up at 3.30pm when the school rang me to ask why no-one had picked DS up)
