(((hugs))) turtlemoose
I don't really know what I can say to help you but FWIW I know that babies can engage and unengage at anytime throughout later pregnancy and it is possible that the growth measurement is linked to babies change of position.
DS was breech and I had the ECV which, despite being rather uncomfortable, was not as bad as I had imagined it to be. I also had an emergency c-section in the end due to other complications and although the recovery was longer, I can honestly say it was worth it. I hope all goes well for you tomorrow, try not to panic too much (easier said than done I know) as that will obviously not help with the BP situation
Good luck0 -
Kitten - welcome! I've not read your other threads but it's obvious that you are going through the mill at the mo so I'm wishing you all the very best.
Turtlemoose - sending you lots of hugs; it;s only natural to get upset so don't be too hard on yourself. Just be assured that everything that's being done is in the best interest of you and your LO.
MissMoney - I think I would probably react in the exact same way! What happened to just facing each other and apologising? And if your daughter did write it in a spelling test, was the other girl even aware of it as wouldn't it have just been handed in to the teacher? I was bullied for years at school and the teachers never even got my tormentors to talk things over with me, let alone make a sorry card! Good grief, what next, sorry cupcakes? ha ha, I've joined your rant! It's just that I've never heard of anything so ridiculous!
Emsbet/Jovichick - ordered a new sandwich toaster last week and waiting for it to be delivered! I also ordered a book which lists 100 different fillings for toasted sandwiches! I just can't seem to stop thinking about food lately, in particular bread, so I am hoping I might get some variety out of this! lol0 -
MissMonkeyMoo- I'm baffled by it all to be honest. All kids have fallings out.. I know this i work with the school kids on a daily basis usually! We deal with it by saying why you shouldn't say things to other people that will hurt their feelings etc. And THEN they appologise to either the injured party or if both at fault to each other! My millie can be argumentative with other girls I know this, but she isn't spiteful and wont "pick" on someone iyswim.. Its when somethings been said to her and she retaliates. I am DYING to hear the teachers explanation of the way it was dealt with later.. tbh if i could walk i may have waddled down there!!!
ETA- MW has left now. Baby is fully engaged and it was some showAND i had a massive bh whilst MW was here and she was very impressed
she reckons having bh's this strong in the day is a good sign that baby will be here sooner rather than later! :j: better be!!!
just found a lighter in the tumble dryer. I think Dan is trying to kill us all :eek:Bad mother to 2!

MissMoney It does seem OTT to have to write a card at their age. DS is 7 and I think we would spend half his life writing out cards if he had to apologise to everyone he had a falling out with :rotfl:It sounds like there might have been something more to it than just the spelling test though, maybe your ex has only given you half the story? Either way, I hope you get it sorted
MissMonkeyMoo I am very jealous of your new toastie maker, I have to do mine under grill as OH says I have enough kitchen gadgets I don't use (breadmaker, smoothie maker etc - it's all lies lol the breadmaker makes excellent pizza dough and the smoothie maker is used for soups :rotfl:).... I might be working on him tonight - it is a craving and therefore baby related0 -

Yay for the showhope things get moving soon for you
I found a lighter down the back of the radiator over the weekend, asked OH about it and he said 'it's been there for weeks, it fell out of my coat and I couldn't reach it'.... grrrr mens0 -

Welcome lovely new people, Kitten I second what others have said having followed your story albeit lurking on other threads, do use the thread as the chance to get together with some lovely likeminded people, I have really valued the support I've had here x
Hey Jovi, same experience today here, I have seen 4 different midwifes and now at 40+3 I was back to the first one. I was a bit taken aback when she measured me, looked thoughtful, then said 'are you the lady I sent to *name of hospital* about the size of your baby? I said no, asked if I should be concerned, she just said oh no, it's probably just because you're quite tall it's hard to measure the size. But then palpated and said, you are having a small baby.
So typically of me, rather than ask my questions I just wanted to get out of there and have come home to start my fretting!
No sweep, they wait til 6 days over here and are coming out to see me at home on Friday to see how LO and I are doing. Looking OK so far for my sis' wedding on Sat but I could do without the stress of worrying about the baby's size. I know they would have sent me to the hospital if it were a concern, but because I've seen so many people I just hope they haven't missed anything.0 -
Miss Money, if the school's normally quite sensible then it's probable that you've not got the whole story. Hopefully Dan will find out what's going on and let you know or could you phone the school and ask to speak to the teacher?
*hugs* to turtlemoose. Try not to worry too much, it sounds like the best is being done for you and your little one. After my friend had been told that her baby was engaged from 35 weeks her midwife said she needed an urgent scan because the baby was in breech at 40 weeks. However the scan showed the panic was for nothing as baby was definitely head down and engagedSometimes it's just a case of the midwife being unsure and wanting to check.
Welcome Kitten pie0
