I've found some prams I like, need to go have a looksie at them in a shop though to see what they are like.
My absolute favourite is this Silver Cross one I absolutely love it but the price is  but DH says I could have it if I want but I think I'd feel guilty spending that much when we could put it to something else.
I also like this Silver Cross one but not as much but it's a better price.
I also kinda like this one and it's better :money: wise but I watched the videos on the kiddicare website and it looks a bit flimsy and I want it to last.

The linear freeway is a nightmare to manouvre Emsbet, I had a go of someone elses and it was so heavy and bulky. I think you said you don't drive? I used it on the bus and it was a awful.
First one is absolutely gorgeous. I'd go try loads out, push them about etc. I don't think mine looks like a "proper" pram but it does have the carry cot etc so it can be made to look it and although expensive I'm sooo glad we got it, it's so easy to move about and I love it so much I know I won't want another for number 2...The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0 -
Thanks for the input Gilly. We are planning to try some out soon. No I don't drive so when on my own I will be walking or using public transport. DH does drive and we have a car with a big boot so at least space isn't something we need to be too concerned about.

I got my linear freeway from Toys R Us for less than £300. Not sure if they still have them, but worth looking. I'm happy with mine so far, I mostly use it for walking though.
Oh, definitely worth trying some first. I was convinced I wanted a Maxi Cosi one till I tried it in the shop, it felt cheap and wobbly, and I couldn't fold the wretched thing!0 -
Yeah that's good
it's so exciting going to look x

Pregnancy massage was amazing, thoroughly recommend it, it was an hour of sheer bliss, anyone 36weeks + should totally seek one out, she used clary sage, which you can't use until after 36 weeks as it can have properties known to bring on labour, but the smell was just lovely when blended with jasmine and a few other oils. Didn't realise til I got home some had gotten in my hair so I looked like a scarecrow headed home but at least I smelled good!!
I am soooo looking forwards to getting our pram from my parent's house this weekend! LO still showing no signs of making her way towards the exit but I would like to have it at home to work out how it all fits together etc!0 -

Glad you had a nice time Amymo. I'm going on my mum's hen do at 36 weeks to a spa where we get two treatments so I'm looking forward to a nice massage. Will need it after the 1hr 45 trip down there!

If you join their club you should get some coupons. I wanted to put my order in before mine arrived, so googled for codes and got £10 off.0

I love that first pram Emsbet I'd love one but went for a more "practical" pram. Can imagine taking a pram like that for a lovely stroll in the park. Like you said your OH's car has a big boot so it would fit in. It's exciting going and trying them out in the shop. Although I had palpitations for the first few times I went into baby shops!
That massage sounds amazing Amy got a few weeks until 36. I had the one for my birthday and I felt like a new woman after. Bet you can't wait for your spa day Emsbet
Glad you're enjoying having a couple of days off work BB even if you're technically off sick. Did get some teats for Tommee bottles in asda that were on offer and some of the Tommee Tipee breast pads after (I think Gilly) recommended them. I'm gaining quite a selection of these things.
Made a start on the nappy cake, ordered a big cake board off eBay and they said they've dispatched it so I'll begin assembling it once I got the board. Must go back to asda and look for a blue blanket for it.
Thursday night is MIL night. She cooks dinner and we have a good natter. She is probably the sweetest MIL in the world. Should prob get out of my slouchy trousers and look a bit decent.
Hope you all have a good evening.:j Baby boy arrived 22nd August 2012 :j
