lol most of what comes out of my mouth is daft - OH is constantly ribbing me for things I say I try to think before I type on here... it doesn't always work though

Our new carpets and bathroom flooring are down! :j Just got to get the door for the back bedroom planed as it doesn't fit anymore. I thought that would be the case as it was a struggle with the old carpet. DH and his parents said it would be fine and didn't think it would be a problem but I was right

Got to do another coat of paint in our room but will do it tomorrow, having a rest today. Just hope I don't get any on the new carpet! Lots of dust sheets will be going down

OH just rang, hes stuck at work in a meeting and will be late home I hate being home alone all day..

Sounds like you are getting sorted Emsbet, have you bought any baby bits yet? I remember you saying you were holding off until after 20 week scan?

Not yet no. We are definitely holding off buying anything blue until the next one but might start looking around at cots, prams etc as I haven't a clue really. We will be getting a cot rather than cotbed as there isn't much room in the nursery. I know I want a pram that looks like a pram IYSWIM. Car seats are another thing, I really wanted to get isofix as our car has the anchors but we discovered that due to the underfloor storage that is in the back you can't use them as the foot of the base would go straight through the floor in an accident!! :eek: Why they bother putting the anchors in I'm not sure?!

Sorry you didn't find the flavour at the scan SM but at least all the bits they measured etc were fine. Must be a big weight off your minds.

Just been chilling indoors today, althought little bit of sunshine now it's been raining/hailing loads. Have loads of bits of housework to do, but.....it's turning out to be a very lazy day today here.

lol that's a bit of an error on the designers part - how useless! IKWYM about the pram, my mum spent ages early on trying to persuade me to buy a stroller/lightweight buggy type thing... I didn't listen lol and we have a huge travel system waiting in the nursery I loved the look of the Silvercross prams when I was looking but ended up buying off ebay in the end as couldn't turn down the bargain price of £33 for full system I love it though, it looks like it has never been used We are putting cot up this weekend, OH is going to finish up clearing the boxed out of nursery and then I can get cracking with the flatpack... can't wait
