i panicked a bit this morning as didnt feel baby move for first hour of the day (this is not normal for me) luckily he/she started movement a little while after i had got to work. i was getting all paranoid that something was wrong.

Every morning without fail, I wake up, do wee wees, then go back to bed and wait for that first movement. I can't do anything until I've felt a kick or squirm :D

Snap! How many weeks are you now fluffnutter? You aren't on the list for some reason. Do you know the flavour? :)

I missed our mothercare event! Gutted, was having a screaming row with DH instead so not exactly a worthy reason to miss it either.

Feeling a bit carp tonight and low, I feel like DH talks to everyone else normally, but when he talks to me he is really cold. We haven't DTD for ages, he is put off by my bump, and if I speak I just seem to annoy him. This has been going on for weeks now, actually pretty much since we moved house (November). All I want is a cuddle and someone who is nice to me. Sorry to bring the mood down, I don't really have anyone in RL I can talk to. Apparently I have really changed since being pg (I felt quite poorly to start with and am still tired), although it only seems to be him that has noticed it. Gah, bloomin men and hormonal women don't mix.

Seeing MW tomorrow, hopefully will get to hear heartbeat again and will be measured, I got told I look like I have a football up my top today, she meant I'm all bump, so pleased with that, just want to reassure myself that I am not the huge el blimpo version of myself that I feel I have morphed into.

Sorry moan over, hope everyone else is good (haven't read back, will do now)

aww sweetie I can totally sympathize..this is how myself and the oh have been with each other. he says he isn't comfortable with DTD because I'm "too pregnant" ( although he says he fnds me totally sexy with my bump but doesnt want to hurt the baby...) no amount of you wont hurt the baby helps! he isn't totally neglected, but i am ifswim. He turns every little cuddle/hug into something sexual (i don't see why they should be turned into something sexual) and then he gets the "reward" and i get nothing!! he just doesnt get that Id just like a cuddle!
I have put it down to men and women being completely different creatures.
I have a friend in rl who like me has spd, and hasnt been getting on with her oh due to similar reasons.. tiredness no sex etc etc etc the list goes on. im on the fb page if you want to have more of a moan about it chick. (((hugs))))

on a better note dan slept in our bed last night with me. He said it was damaging our relationship him sleeping apart... my reply? "no !!!!!! sherlock!!" it was nice having a cuddle in bed.. and he didnt moan when i got up twice to go to the loo and change the sheets on maddies bed as she had wee'd

sexymouse- ooo how exciting for your scan :D i hope your bean doesnt wriggle too much and you can see the sex :) xx

my telly is doing odd clicking noises and flashing  Im not sure it will last the day without blowing up... ARG!!! i cant cope without the telly!!!
hugs to all that need them xxxxxxx

    Morning all!

Scan day today - 9am, so gotta go and get my hair dried, and eat breakfast before we go. I'm looking forward to seeing Bean again, and hope we're able to find out what it is. I have a feeling it'll be team blue, but will have to wait and see.

Had the worst night's sleep last night - terrible storms here in the night, and we sleep with our heads near the window. The cat hasn't left my side though for the last couple of weeks, and he even snuggled up near my chest last night when he came in, even though there was only a tiny gap between Moon and I. We think he's guarding the baby! Either that, or he's trying to let me know that he's indispensible. lol

Hope the midwife appointment goes well today Gemma.

Hugs for all in pain, and labour vibes to those who want them.

    sexymouse xx

Good luck with the scan this morning Sexymouse hope all goes well :)

I had to quote you as it's funny you mention about your cat... I have three moggies and while two of them clearly couldn't care less about the imminent arrival, the eldest cat Chewy has been massively protective over me for months. He growls when the other cats come near me, sits staring at me for hours at a time, won't come near the bump but is quite content to sit next to me (as long as he can sit up and stare) and follows me from room to room during the day :o I wouldn't mind so much but he's not well known in our house for his brain power (his nickname is daft cat) so out of the three I would have thought him the least useful choice for a protector :rotfl: At first I got a bit freaked out by it but have grown to live with my furry stalker since :D

My cat's a nob. I keep telling him that a baby's coming but he's totally uninterested. I'd get rid of him if I could (a baby's going to be far more exciting!) but, for some strange reason, the OH really likes him and won't let me :(:D

talking of cats being protective... my female JR doggy (tiny wee thing) is being REALLY protective of me to the point where she even follows me upstairs if i need a wee! She has become my personal all day arm rest... where as JR stupid doggy number 2 (her brother, an all brown shaggy type thing) couldn't gove a monkeys and spends all day plotting his latest escape..(I would seriously consider rehoming him, but pixie would be devastated without him) so I live with doggy chaos on a daily basis!! lol
