how did you get on BB?
somewhat broken night here - my three year old wee'd the bed then pooed the bed! the joys of kiddies!!!quiet day of pottering about for us both while daughter is at school and hubster at work. we need a food shop then we are apparently making a big tent to sit in. the mind boggles...0 -
nooo i just worte a rally long post and lost it  !!!
right start again!
BB- hope you are ok and managed to see someone last night.
Ginzvt- ooogood luck hope you are having lovely mummy cuddles soon
xx
emsbet- what time is your appointment? hope baby's feeling photgenic
Little-miss_moneysaver- kids are so pleasant aren't they?! lol it's hard changing sheets when you have a bump! my eldest has to sleep on the bottom bunk because of her wetting problem.. I cant reach the top bunk to do any of the sheets for love nor money!!! :rotfl: when its changing day I have both kids on the top bunk sorting the sheets for me lol.
Last nights sleep wasn't good. My hips and thighs were very sore and it gave me some really awful graphic birth dreamsI woke up in a hot hot sweat where I'd soaked myself through (and my own sheets)
took me a while to realise it was only a hormonal sweat attack and not my waters that had gone!!!
Today will be be a better day. The oh left for work without speaking to me, but at least no cross words were said, so I feel better about thatthis morning i will ring the gp
then take maddie to nursery. My mum is comming over at around 12 whilst my dad goes to his old work mates club at the pub for an hour. he will then pick up maddie and then they are taking me out to let me spend some bday money on fish for my tanks
and I have made myself a promise.... today I will NOT cry!!
hugs to all that need themxxxxx

Oh my goodness Gin! Thinking of you and wishing you all the best, can't wait to hear an update!
Hoping we'll get some other lovely baby news today too
BB, hope everything is ok and sending lots of love. Same to you too Emsbet xxBaby has being moving around like crazy today, can see bits poking out of my belly and I think I had my first Braxton Hicks! Never had them before so don't know but my whole belly tightened and went hard for around 20 seconds, then stopped. Then it happened again a bit later. But it wasn't painful at all!?
Triangle, I forgot to reply to you the other day, sorry! Its this baby brain (that I swore I wasn't going to get!). We were on the TTC board at the same time and must have literally fallen about the same time too, weird!
I'm leaving work in just over 3 weeks and can't bloody wait either. This will be the first time I haven't been at work since I was 14!! Taking 2 weeks holiday, so my mat leave will start at 36 weeks, due back to work March 2013, part-time, sounds amazingAre you going back?
J x
Hey Mrs B
I didn't realise that bump tightening may be Braxton HicksI've had excatly how you describe it....ooooh, things are getting scarly close now! Last night me and DH watched as little man swept his arm across my belly...it was so weird but cute too!
I'm like your twinMy mat leave will start at 36 weeks as I am taking 2 weeks annual leave too. I plan to go back in April, having used the reminder of my annual leave days in March. I'll be going back part time all being well (3 days a week) and am viewing the nursery we want this weekend (I know it sounds very early but its the open day and registartion will be be £25 as opposed to the usual £100!)
Take care all

Morning all, thanks for all your kind messages last night and this morning
I spoke to the midwife, and she didn't seem too worried. She was concerned about my eye/face, but said she thought I should see a GP as she didn't think it was pregnancy-related.
Got a doctors appointment at 10.45 this morning, so hopefully they'll give me something as my eye is really sore and driving me crazyThen got the consultant at 4pm, where hopefully they'll tell me that there's nothing wrong with me, no diabetes, and that they don't need to see me again!
Oh my goodness, Gin, can't believe it's baby-time for you already! Hope you're ok and that all is well, do let us know if you can. Thinking of you and the bubs today
Emsbet, hope your scan goes wellBaby will look very much like an actual human now!
Miss Money - have fun spending your bday money! Can you have a "proper" chat with your OH? Sounds like you need a bit more support and it'll be much easier to talk and get things sorted before baby arrives! ((hugs))
MummyofTwo  at the night time incidents... remind me again why I've volunteered for the whole kids thing?!
RE Braxton Hicks - I don't think I've had any... is that a concern?
Have a good day y'all, will let you know what the doc has to say.

Good luck today Emsbet (if I'm not too late - not sure how early your scan is).
Also good luck to Ginvzt. Hope it all goes smoothly for you and you will be having your mummy cuddles very soon.
BB1984 - The not blinking with one eye and "wonky face" sounds very similar to what happened to me a few years ago. It turned out to be Bells Palsy. I was prescribed some strong steroids and it all went back to normal fairly quickly with no lasting effects. Whatever it is, I hope you manage to get it sorted.0 -
Morning everyone!
Gosh quite a lot has happened - it takes ages to catch up on this thread doesn't it!
Emsbet - Good Luck today!
Miss Money - Glad you are going to see Dr. It can't hurt can it?
BB - wow what a relief that the midwife doesn't think it's pregnancy related. I hope you get sorted soon.
Ginvst - Good luck! !!
Glimmer - I am saving your birth story for lunch time. I hope it's not too gory because I've got tomato soup for lunch! LOL!!
All is pretty dull over here. 25 + 4 today. Seems like ages to go. Still I guess a dull pregnancy is a normal pregnancy so I shouldn't knock it.
My heart goes out to you guys suffering with SPD at the mo.
