Don't know if DH is still in a mood because I'm not speaking to him ;)

Decided to say out of their (DH and PILs) way as the room's too small for four people to be in. So I'm going to console myself by looking at boy's names. I had loads of girl's names I love but only a few boy's so I'm going to look for some more. We want to have a couple of names ready for little man because we don't want to pick one before he arrives in case it doesn't suit him :)

God this thread moves quick! Struggling to keep up!

Well I'm getting on with my bits and pieces, the boxes from the garage have been sorted, so just need to chuck the rubbish away, find a place for the stuff we're keeping and file any bits of paperwork. I've also half spring-cleaned the lounge - just need to clean the windows, clean the two seater and clean the carpet. I might even get hubby to take down curtains so I can wash them.

My placenta is the same, they told me last week when I had that quick San that I might not feel much movement yet, am beginning to feel more now though. Think at first I wasn't really sure if it was bubba or not but I'm feeling him a lot more now :) but then he is using the placenta as a pillow - he's a clever boy

Excatly the same as me LMM and Emsbet. I think my placenta position contributed to feeling little man a little later than others may have done - that and all my extra padding! :D - but now at 31 weeks I am being well and truly bashed! :j

Many congrats on being team blue Emsbet - I had a feeling you would be don't know why! Did you and DH have a preference at all? I'm sure you two will be fine in no time at all - its such a highly emotional time. I was really upset that DH didn't burst into tears at the scan :o which caused an argument. Ridicious really - he is so loving and supportive of me and he can't wait to meet his son!

Thinking of you BB, keep us updated. Pleased you have ben listened to though - sounds like you being well looked after :)

  • Sorry Rebekah I have no clue. Bug sending lots of hugs that the pain stop soon. And LO stop kicking mummy!!!

We've lots of girls names picked prob enough for four girls, but we're struggling with boys names. We've got some middle names picked out. Weird as my bestie has names for many boys but they only had one girls name. They're having a boy too, unfortunately our favourite girls name is the name. But we agreed we'd still both use it

Emsbet - I had loads of girls names aswell and found it hard to pick a boys. Callum came up with Tristan only a few weeks before he arrived. You can spend hours looking at names so that will keep you busy. Are you going to start looking at things to buy now? Obviously not clothes until you get the sex confirmed but other things xx

Pleased to hear the scan went well emsbet - will have to look back on the list, but aren't all the September babies so far boys? I have a feeling this one is going to be a boy (the sonographer thought so at the 13 week scan as it was being awkward and wouldn't keep still), although I'd really like a girl. Only 2 days til we can find out though hopefully. :) Hope you and DH make it up soon.

Well I came over all hot and dizzy whilst sitting at the computer this morning playing an online game (nothing very stressful), and then was promptly sick in the bathroom. Then I came over cold, so went back to bed for a while. Not sure if this is normal, or whether I've got some sort of bug, as surely it's a bit late for morning sickness still (haven't been sick for weeks and I'm 18+2 today). Luckily I wasn't called for work this afternoon, so was able to recover a bit. The cat came and snuggled on the bed with me for a bit this afternoon, and I managed to eat the packed lunch that Moon made for me whilst in bed. Decided I should get up to see if there's been any news for emsbet and gin.

Hugs for those in pain or feeling down or poorly.

Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

If you'd have asked me three pregnancies ago I'd have said I had a slight preference for a girl but now I'm just grateful for a baby :o

I definitely think boy's names are harder, there are so many pretty girl's names out there but they will have to wait for the next one ;) (assuming we're not told different at the next scan). I really want something that isn't in the top 20-50 names as I hated having a really popular name as a kid, but I also don't want anything weird that my baby boy will get picked on about. I do have one name in mind but DH isn't as keen as me so we'll have to see if we can find something else I like or if I can persuade him ;)

SM, I think a lot of the September babies are boys so far except kitten, who's tea, pink but she's not posted on here yet, but posted on one of the other pg threads.

    xx

Just lurking on here - thrilled for you emsbet!! The next 20 weeks will hopefully fly by! I was the same as you, the sonographer couldn't get all the measurements done at the first scan, I ended up having 5 scans and they still didn't have them all when Poppy made her early appearance! I'm convinced she wanted an extra Christmas as she likes presents like her Mum!

I didn't find out the flavour and thank gosh she was a girl as we didn't have 1 boys names that we could both agree on, yet had a list of about 10 girls name. Your right to get a few as when baby arrived, he might not look like the name you've chosen! Poppy wasn't even on my list, yet when I first saw her I knew that was who she was!!

Take care and enjoy your pregnancy.
