Emsbet, we were going to go out for dinner but oh crohns us playing up a bit (think its nerves) so just going to have a quiet one in. we have to leave for the hospital by 6'15 so was thinking an early night would be good but there is no way I'll be able to sleep, at 28 I still can't sleep on christmas eve lol
When is your 20 week scan?
Hope baby arrives before your birthday charli, wishing you all the best x0 -
Gin I think the notebook is a great idea. I'm already learning stuff and should prob write it down. A friend has a tip then I know they said something wise but I've forgotten. My friend has the two drop rule, one drop it (the toy or whatever) it gets a wipe, if it's dropped again it gets a wash.
The spreadsheet sounds a great idea, I love spreadsheets though. Do you have a laptop or tablet that's going to be readily available? If not the whiteboard sounds a great idea, even if it's just until you get chance to turn on pc etc.
Rebekah I can email you my hip exercises of you want. I'm not sure how they'd come up on here cos it's a whole A4 page. If you or anyone else who wants it pm me your address or Facebook me :-)
Emsbet hope you've got your feet up with a cuppa now. Least it's all finished :-) did you manage to book your classes? Or are you going to wait til your scan? Here we're advised to book at 16 weeks as they get booked so quick.
Laura hope you're feeling glam and prepared for tomoro.
Got a beautiful maxi dress, I do look pretty massive in it in a nice bumpy kind of way and a blue summer day dress. However it's still cold and raining here so don't think I'll be wearing them anytime soon :-( Did get dragged into mothercare by my sis, didn't get too palpitations this time lol. Joined their "club" so got some vouchers. Mainly off big stuff which we have sorted but some for clothing and lingerie which may come in useful. Free to join so can't hurt.:j Baby boy arrived 22nd August 2012 :j

Gin, I think the wording on your notebook is perfect
I have a got a baby log book as well - I'm sure I read it on this thread that it is good to have a notebook to jot down feeds and sleeps in the first few weeks. It is shiny and red and waiting to go in my hospital bag
Rebekah and MrsExcited - I would love to share them with you. I have 26 excerises to do on a ball (I know you have one Rebekah) and also some stablity/pelvic floor exercises. I don't have a scanner I'm afraidbut I am very happy to photocopy and post them to you both? Or if anyone has any other suggestions how to get them onto laptop (I'm not great with technology so simple language please!
)

Thanks for the comments on the notebook. Will see what OH says when he sees it.
As for the 'Baby log', I have a small laptop (notebook?) and iPad, but I think I will prefer to have the sheets printed out and just keep them in the folder in the drawer in the nursery new ones/past days and 'today's' one on the changing table or nearby, so I can remember to make a note of things.
Just thought that we could maybe go to cinema tonight, as haven;t been for ages, but just checked to local cinemas and there is nothing at all I would like to see!Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0 -
Physio said the condition I have is called PGP (pelvic girdle pain) but I think its pretty much the same thing as SPD, just a different title. I have been given lots excerises, a belt and have another appointment in 2 weeks
You're right. They've renamed SPD. It's now called pelvic girdle pain. Exactly the same thing."Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0 -
Triangle was the Physio helpful? Ball exercises sound fun although I fear I may fall off the ball :-S do you or OH have a camera phone maybe could email from there? Or photo the page? I'm not sure really I'm not very technical either.:j Baby boy arrived 22nd August 2012 :j
