    Afternoon everyone :)

Im feeling a bit more positive today - well I havnt had any random bouts of crying yet anyway!

Still no signs of LO making an appearance. Seeing midwife tomorrow so will see what she says.

LOL Amymo seems I still have a while to wait for those cuddles but hopefully we will both get there soon.

I was woken up by a text from MIL this morning asking if there is any news - that started me off on the wrong foot!! I had to wait a few minuts to calm down before replying that Id let her know if anything happens. Does she really think id reply and say oh yes I ve had the baby and just not told you?! grrr!!! Oh dear maybe I am more hormonal than I thought!!

Re weight gain I havnt dared to weigh myself yet!! Im grumpy enough already!! If I remember I am planning to weigh myself when I go in to labour, and then again when I get home. Im intrigued to know what the difference in weight will be when baby etc has come out.

Laura - Good luck tomorrow hun! So excited for you and will be thinking of you :) xx

Thank you all for the good luck wishes. Had my hair cut and coloured today and made sure all the house work is done and ironed our clothes for the morning so not very exciting really!

Robyn, I have that app, it's so cute :)

Ikkle, I thought all maternity notes were now standardised now? What a pain that you have to have a booking in appointment again!

Are you having a sweep Charli? ((hugs)) for annoying messages.

Laura, are you doing anything nice for your last evening just the two of you?

I've finished painting all my doors now but I'm absolutley pooped! I ache all around my tummy, back and thighs from crouching down and getting up while painting. I think DH maybe lucky to get any tea tonight!

    xx

Charli, maybe you should have just replied 'Oh, yes, I had a baby yesterday, didn't OH tell you yet?' and wait for her reaction. Maybe some people needs this to realise that things 'Are there any news yet?' are not welcome!

I don't know if you remember, but I was 'toying' with the idea of the notebook where people can write down their advice/etc. instead of airing it (don't want to start again, but my MIL doesn't know when it is enough of repeating the same thing over and over again and can go on for hours repeating the same sentence!). I got a notebook in Homesense the other day, and was playing around with the note to be put on the cover. I haven't shown OH yet, but thought I'll ask what do you think - hope it is not offensive, please let me know!

If there is any advice you would like to pass to us,
If there are any experiences you would like to share,
If there is something you noticed and would like to mention,
If there is anything else you would like to share –

Please, write it down here, so we can look back once you are gone and remember it. Our minds are very busy with the babies and we are likely to forget things very quickly if you tell us, but if it is written down, we can always refer back to your words!

    Thank you –

Also, made the 'Baby log' spreadsheet, so we can keep the track of the feeds, nappies and sleeps for each baby. It will also be good to look through and see if we have a routine establishing, and when health visitor asks about anything that happened a day ago, we can always pull the sheet out and let them know... Maybe I am getting too paranoid, but I am worried that my mind will go blank and I will not remember which side I fed the baby from from one feed to another, which baby had nappy changed and which didn't, which had wet nappy and which had dirty nappy, etc, etc, etc...

Fab idea getting your hair done Laura, you'll look brill for your first family photos too! Look forward to hearing your update and finding out which team you're on (I'm guessing a girl, don't know why but that's my guess)! :j

Me and the dog have been bored to tears because of the rain, just can't seem to muster the energy to take him out on our usual hour long jaunts at the moment! I have a friend from work calling in on her way home from work tonight which will be nice as I have had very little company and poor DH is a bit sick of me talking at him nonstop when he gets in from work! :D

And Charli, I sympathise with the messages, my parents call me every morning, I hear the anticipation in their voice as they ask how I'm doing and i just know veiled behind their poor excuse for calling (like do you need any milk, anything from the shops etc) they're really calling to ask if there have been developments overnight :rotfl:

Hey Gin, our friends recently had twins, they have a whiteboard on the wall in their kitchen with a line drawn down the middle for each twin so they can log feeds, changes etc, seems to work really well for them and she and her OH use it to make a note for the other if one of them was out and missed something

LOL Ginvzt!! I may have to do that if she continues :) Every day is getting a bit much!!

I love the wording on your notebook, thats such a great idea. As is the log book - I should really use my time to prepare something like that too as I bet it will be so useful when establishing a routine.

Emsbet I think the rule here is that if I go a week overdue then I have a sweep and then 2 weeks overdue they will offer induction. I need to check that with MW tomorrow though. Im willing to undergo anything to get things moving.

2 weeks overdue for me is my 30th Birthday so I dont really want to spend my birthday being induced!

Awh Amymo its hard isnt it as you know everyone means well but at the same time you just wish they would stop asking! Its hard these days with mobile phones and Facebook and you can be contacted pretty much all the time.

Would you like a birthday baby Charli or would you prefer him/her o have their own birthday?

My LO is due 9 days before my birthday so we could potentially be sharing :)

I agree the notebook wording is great Gin, captures the sentiment and I love "if there is something you noticed," my SIL is big on 'just noticing' things and it drives me to distraction, I always know what she's going to say before she says it to!

My DH only recently held a baby for the first time and I really don't want her 'just noticing' something he might or might not be doing wrong as it really knocks his confidence, I love how gentle and careful he is with our friends LO, but when our friend pointed out he could be rougher/more playful he got nervy and stopped picking him up!
