They non-identical, with separate sacks and placentas. The consultant said last time i will have scans and appointments every 4 weeks, but just looked again at the notes, and it says scans at 20, 28, 32 and 36 weeks. Opps - I booked one for in 4 weeks time! Will see consultant in 4 weeks and ask about it, if anything, will cancel this one (24 week one)...
Yeh you have non identical twins like me (DCDA - Dichorionic and Diamniotic) and I definitely have one every 4 weeks so i'm not sure you should cancel. If you are concerned then you should call your midwife. I had one at 20, 24 and the next one is at 28weeks.
It even says it on the nhs website http://www.nhs.uk/Livewell/twins-and-multiples/Pages/healthy-pregnancy.aspx
"If your babies are dichorionic diamniotic (DCDA), the risks to their health in the womb are much lower. You will usually be scanned every four weeks."

Just got back from sainsburys and I felt like I was going to pass out again, it seems as soon as I'm inside somewhere as such eg: shop, restaurant etc I can't control my body temperature!! I don't panic about being out on my own so I'm not getting myself worked up and feeling hot, I just don't know why it keeps happening as I have never felt Like this in previous pregnancies.
Is it normal to keep coming over Like I'm going to pass out? Also when I had my midwife appointment at 34 weeks she said there was protein in my urine sample but said they don't tend to worry unless i still have it next time. I don't know if that could be the reason? I'm seeing my midwife next Thursday for my 34 week check so will speak to her then but just wondered if anyone had gone through the same, I'm not sure if it is just because of how far along I am!!
Hope that makes sense!!:)DS1 10yrsDS2 7yrs :)DS3 born March 2012

I have avoided all the stuff too - and I think most people would, but just think sometimes they should inform you a little more of the risk before telling you to avoid, you know the reasons not just a "don't do it".
Thanks Lisa for the fuel heads up - it was chaos last time, will top up both cars tomorrow!

No worries - at least I am not the only one seeing the same advice about appointments and scans. I will print out the recommended schedule for care and talk through with doctor. I don't have any midwife contact - only day care unit it the big hospital and emergency number for delivery suite!Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0 -
Not sure who was talking about it but the Cadbury's cream egg ice cream is £1.50 for 1L in asda at the moment (normally £4)

we live right next to the retail park with a maccy ds haha!
Sammie, i keep coming over funny as if i`m going to pass out, mine *i think* is my blood pressure tho as its very low. Sounds strange, but if u go into a shop in the evening, does the same thing happen? As i literally struggle to go out of the house and not have a funny turn before lunchime, but from about 4pm I dont even feel pregnant! I find that (sounds strange) if my pace of walking changes my head goes whirly , so in a shop i make sure i have a trolley to lean on, even if i only go in for bread! Hills r a killer too.... lol Just take care of urself and if u feel faint, sit down, even if its on the floor! I find squatting and pretending to look at something on the botom shelf for a minute helpsxx
Aww Gin, sorry u had a rubbish view, i had a horrid woman do DD3s scan, she was very abbrupt, told DH off for moving his chair, and made no effort at all to see the sex. I was in tears when i got out. Never did have a private scan tho. xxMummy to 3 beautiful GIRLS, 9, 7 and 3,and a handsome lil BOY 03.03.12 :T

You have 2 cars?! I think its time you took your test then lol!!0 -
Thanks emmylou, it has happened once in the evening when I was out for a meal I came over really hot and luckily dp saw me going and grabbed me before I could fall off the chair!! it did cross my mind if it could be something to do with blood pressure. I'm glad it sounds normal if you also struggle with it. I was starting to worry something was wrong!!! Thanks again. Xxx:)DS1 10yrs

Ha ha - yeah I know, sounds bad now lol.
One car is a 7 seater family car for when we have his kids and now ours. The other one was my birthday present last Jan for my 30th, and is a little rover, which was to encourage me to get on and pass test. So it is owned by me and insured by me with OH as a named driver so I earn no claims too. Passed my theory last may, and then found out I was pregnant in August and have let it all slip. I must get on so I can be mobile when baby comes. Ii really have no excuse. xMarried the Man of my dreams 30/08/2008Baby No.1 arrived 04/04/2012, gorgeous little girl after 4 years of fertility issues!!:j:T0 -

If its any comfort, i had it slightly with DD1 and DD2, but 3rd pregnancy was quite bad, this one is just a nightmare! lol Only a few weeks left tho, the end is in sight! Cant wait to be able to just go out for a walk without having to worry about if i`ll make it there and back in one piece! The only other thing i can suggest is wear layers, so if u go hot then u can strip offoh, and carry a fizzy drink! It helps alot with the lightheadedness! xx
