Why is it no matter how many times you see baby and how well baby moves you still feel paranoid there will be something wrong!?!? Seriously, I drive myself crazy. How is everyone else feeling about putting themselves through this a second time?0

Its crazy... before we started TTC, i worried we wouldnt be able to. When we got the BFP, i worried about what might happen in the first 12 weeks, then i worried about not feeling movement, then i worried about baby coming early, then i worried the baby was late, then what might happen during the birth...... now i have my baby here with me for real, and i get to worry 24 hrs a day about everything! Too hot, too cold, too much feeding, not enough feeding, too much sleep, not enough sleep....
No wonder parents get lines and grey hairs!:rotfl:Married 13/03/10 #1 DD born 13/01/12!!

If its any comfort, i had it slightly with DD1 and DD2, but 3rd pregnancy was quite bad, this one is just a nightmare! lol Only a few weeks left tho, the end is in sight! Cant wait to be able to just go out for a walk without having to worry about if i`ll make it there and back in one piece! The only other thing i can suggest is wear layers, so if u go hot then u can strip off
oh, and carry a fizzy drink! It helps alot with the lightheadedness! xx
Luckily today I had a cardigan and a coat on to start with so ended up stripping down to my vest top!! I think I'm just going to do online shopping from now on or send dp!!
Just eaten a mars bar so hopefully that will keep me going for a bit!!

Its mad isn't it! We wont stop worrying till the day we die.
I am now worried because after my lovely 4d scan yesterday my femur and ac measurements are 2 weeks behind but the hc is just over a week ahead. I know that a small femur measurement (ours is in the 5th percentile) can be an indication of downs syndrome and if I remember rightly so can a large hc? It was the one test we declined when the echogenic bowel showed up as the chance of mc was so much higher than the risk of downs and though it would make no difference to how we would feel about the baby I just cant stand not knowing. I need to step away from google and chill out I think0 -
I was wondering about my antenatal classes, so decided to call the hospital to find out when can I expect my twins antenatal class, only to be told they can't find my form and they don't offer the specific class for twins (it was on my form in the list of choices!). Anyway, took my details, we talked what classes I can have, and I asked for breastfeeding, 'Your newborn baby' and labour ones, and I will also get a separate date for the look around the delivery suite. I guess we will be paying out £140 for TAMBA antenatal class then... Will discuss with OH tonight.Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0

Just wondering if anyone has a clue about the £190 one off payment that pregnant women get? Im sure I read about it in the purple book but cant find my purple book oops. Is it a payment for everyone?how do you get it? Knew Id end up misplacing my purple book doh.
Laura - my midwife said 10 movements a day is fine but well mine can do 10 before 7am and then i worry when it doesnt move for a while its a monkey for sure
Heartburn = hair its looking that way for mine - strawberry gaviscon chews and milk are my weapons of choice. although theres no logic in what causes me to have heartburn, big fat indian with loads of onion, garlic, spices = no heart burn so im stumped with it. But on my private 4d scan before she flipped to the 3d view she pointed out at the back of the head was white wisps - this is apparently hair.
Gender of baby - ours is still a surprise team yellow. Even though the midwife refered to baby as one gender for the whole appointment last week!! Yeah thanks. I have an inkling and if my friends are correct with what they know from looking at a scan and gender identifying im right. Going to white out what Ive heard is the real way they can identify what with willys and front bums looking similar Apparently if its a girl at the 20week scan there will be 2 white disc shapes in the lower back that are visible and are the ovaries - boys dont have the discs but girls do! it can be a mix up if the ovaries arent as visible as they could be but like I said its all apparentlys anyway and i dont know for certain if its true or not!!
Anywhoooo 31 weeks today eep seriously in shock that im actually pregnant still after trying for what felt like forever :eek:Love is the answer. At least for most of the questions in my heart,
Like why are we here? And where do we go?And how come it's so hard?

Elliot doing fine, just a little jaundiced. He also has a tongue tie, but he's breast feeding fine so far, his weight loss after 3 days is well within normal, so fingers crossed he won't have to have it cut as it sounds painful! Our cat is calming down about the 'thing that makes funny noises' and can now cope with being in the room while Elliot's crying, which is such a relief as I thought she'd be really terrified.
Sending labour vibes to those that want them - I can recommend buying Asda's smart price pineapple, didn't even need to eat it to get things started....0 -
Laura - Maybe your baby will just be a shorter than average person. Like you said downs or no downs youll love the baby regardless.
Gin- antenatal classes - we get 2 here early days and labour, with an optional 3rd for grandparents and dads :S Thats rubbish though Im sure i remember you mentioning the twin classes really early on in your pregnancy.Love is the answer. At least for most of the questions in my heart,

Or 4th time  Haha! I was so relaxed about my pregnancy with DD1, for me, things like miscarriages etc happened to other people ( I was just 18 and very clueless!) Then with DD2, I had a big bleed at 10 weeks and 2 days. Everything was luckily ok, but after that I couldnt relax right up until she was in my arms. With DD3 and this one, every single pain was over analysed! I know how very very very lucky i have been to not have lost a baby, the scare with DD2 was terrifying enough. And yes i still worry about even the 9 yr old! Just last week we had a standing row about why she wasnt allowed to sleep at a friends house. I`d never met the parents!!!!!!
Phunkles, that payment was the health in pregnancy (or similarly worded) one off grant that everyone got, it unfortunatley stopped last April.Mummy to 3 beautiful GIRLS, 9, 7 and 3,and a handsome lil BOY 03.03.12 :T
