Alcohol doesn't even bother me, especially with breast feeding, I won't be able to drink more than 1 anyway
First thing I will be doing though is going to our favourite Italian, 12oz medium fillet steak with all the trimmings, NOMNOMNOMNOM. I'm starting to dream about it now. Will obviously have to wait until bubs is old enough to be left with MIL, but it'l be worth it.
Pate on oatcakes too. Yum.The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0 -
I only want 1 malibu lol! I dont drink at all when pregnant, not even a sip. And tbh, once baby is born, i`ll prob not even want one haha! I dont actually drink often anyway, prob only on the 1-2 nights out i have a yr! Dont drink at home anyway. Still not sure if breastfeeding will be happening here, altho havent got long to decide i guess! Think its going to be a wait and see thing.Mummy to 3 beautiful GIRLS, 9, 7 and 3,

Ah, an ice cold Savannah with a slice of lemon!! I've been craving it for months, and as soon as I can express and do a few bottle feeds in between breast feeding, i'll be having one. I do enjoy having a drink on a warm summer evening!
I decided that i'll probably (if breast feeding goes well) start expressing after week 2/3, so DH can help out with the feeds.DFD February 2012

Haha I didn't mean you wanted more
sounds refreshing anyway, never tried it.
I know, I'm so worried about breast feeding, but I just hope I can manage. It's the only thing I'm really panicking about I guessThe frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0 -

Especially after reading all the stories on the newborn thread, i've realised how much of a challenge breast feeding is going to be. So many worries!!DFD February 2012

I know
I really want to make it work, I was breast fed for the first little while and I know it is the best for my baby so it would upset me if I can't, but I know I'll have to get over it.
Edit: Realised how preachy that sounds, I don't mean it like that, I just mean it's what I've got my heart set onThe frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0 -
Exactly, we can only do what we can do. At the end of the day, we do what's best for baby.DFD February 2012

Ive had one of the Munchies McFlurrys, they're lovely. Did ask first if it was safe lol.
The couple of nursing bras I have at the minute are from Mamas and Papas. They are amazingly comfy to wear. Had them on since about week 30 lol.
Fancy some of the HotMilk ones though, they look lovely.0
