    Sorry to blow the theory!!:D
I couldnt bear sweet things (other than fruit) for the first 4 or 5 months, savoury all the way, esp lots of cheese! Unfortunate as i fell PG just before Easter, so didnt fancy eating any of my eggs! Then Boooooom! Round about 3rd Tri, I fell out of the savoury tree hitting every sweet branch on the way down- esp ice cream and sour fruit pastilles. nom nom nom.

And as you know, i very much had a little girlie! Interesting that i had horrible acid indigestion, and ended up with a LO with a full head of hair. So did Lirin and Jen.. Maybe some truth in that one after all. The m/w thought there was.

    PS, Congrats Bluebell!!

Hi kira. I'm pretty much the same, couldn't stand chocolate(seemed overly sweet) and craved chicken nuggets, cheese and crackers and beef monster munch lol. Only in 3rd tri that I've been able to stomach choc and sweet stuff again.

Been nesting like mad today and now I have a sore shoulder:(

Congrats Bluebell. Even if you did queue jump :p. Hope you and baby are both well. X

Bumps just had a mad couple of hours. Constant movement, and strong ones too. Bloody painful now. Hopefully he's trying to shift from back to back to where he needs to be. Will ask at next appointment. Got Sweep on Wednesday if useless midwife can do it. Fingers crossed x

I went off chocolate at the start this time, very very unlike me! Everyone that knows me, knows i ALWAYS have sweets/choc in my pocket or handbag! Always have done hah! I am back on the toffee crisps and snickers the last few days, oh and seem to be wanted those caramel eggs, like the creme egg ones!
My feet hurt...alot! Getting shooting pains going thru the bottom of my foot when i stand up :( Worying me a bit as its in he foot that i have discolouration in the ankle and leg :( My whole left leg from the calf down is pretty much black/purple/red now. Very attractive!
Think i`m going down with the cold the kids have had this weekend too (can u tell i`m having a feel sorry for myself day!). Not sure who said about breathing thru their nose? But i`ve had blocked sinuses for a few weeks now, DH came running up the stairs a few nights ago as he could hear me snoring and making funny noises from downstairs and he thought i was struggling to breath!! I dont normally snore, and this is he first pregnancy i`ve had trouble! Altho have since been told it can a pregnancy symptom :( xx

I think my baby will be bald, my acid/heartburn hasn't been that bad. It's starting to get horrible now but I think that's just par for the course. I don't think Lirin had bad acid though, I remember asking her, and I think she said no.

Emmy, if your foot/leg is still as bad, I'd go see someone about that, it doesn't sound good at all. xx

For those who have bought them, where did you get your nursing bras? I'm not sure where to go, seems either M&S or Mothercare really.

I didnt have any heartburn/reflux at all with DD1 or DD2, and they had full heads of jet black hair! DD2 had a full on mullet! (bald babies scare me a bit tbh!!)
Gilly, I`ve had 3 varicose vein ops, 1 was only the month i fell preg. My legs r a mess! The discolouration is all from DD3 and just getting worse now :( Apparently tho, there is some sor of skin bleach i`ll be able to use after baby comes. But i will def mention it to midwife next week. Dont hink theres alot they`ll do, its not hot to the touch or showing signs of DVT xx
Ooh, let me know how the creme egg icecream is! I like creme eggs, but i really didnt like those bars, the new splats dont appeal so a bit wary of trying anything else creme egg! lol x

Congrats on your new arrival Bluebell.

Been struck down with a tummy bug in the last 24 hours, but seems to be clearing now. It seems to be threatening to have a UTI chaser though, so need to drink plenty of water to see if I can stave it off.

Went to my cousin's engagement party at the weekend, which was lovely. However her sister is getting married this September and was going on about it being a baby and child free zone - better hope she can make an exception for my 2 month old or we won't be able to go as it's at the other end of the country so not even like we could leave the baby with a friend for 2 or 3 hours for the evening do.

Oooh another question for the mummys. I'm planning on buying a few cartons of ready made formula, just for an in case over night calamity, with breast feeding.

I was going to buy Aptamil is this ok? Or is there brands you'd recommend over it? It only appears to come in little cartons though compared other brands, which isn't really a problem :o
