Congratulations Lovecrafting. Thanks for letting us know Emmy
Happy April, especially to those ladies due to have their babies this month. Mummy cuddles coming your way soon
Gilly, I don't think the letter is OTT at all. It's quite short in comparison to the three page essay 3 received from me when they took over four months to cancel my Internet contractYou need to get all the information down and you didn't waffle and it obviously worked
Gin, I hope you get it sorted soon.
Flutterby, I think I'm free most of June so any day would be fine with me.
Happy, I think the fact that you are conscious of Callum feeling left out by the new arrival means that you will be able to make sure that doesn't happen. My sister's two are only three years apart but it was a big change for the eldest boy. My sister made sure that people said hello to him before they went to coo over the baby and me and my immediate family all bought little token presents for the eldest as well as the baby.
I think you've had some good advice from the other ladies about doing things just the two of you when you can and keeping him as involved as he wants to be with the baby.
Spent the evening with my bestest last night and we had a good old natter and talked babies most of the evening
I hope everyone has a lovely Sunday.

Morning all. Thanks emmy for letting us know about lovecrafting, congrats to her. Isla is such a pretty name, hope she's out puts special care asap.
I wonder how dinah and her little one are doing?
Lazy start for me today, I'm still in bed which is unlike me. Looks like a nicer day than yest so am planning to plant some pretty flowers in the garden, to brighten it up a bit.
Ooh it's april fools day today, where is the year going to?!
Had a weird dream last night that my baby was born in my sleep, I woke up and there was a baby lying on my tummy! Then I really woke up, most confusing!
I'm afraid I won't be able to join you for the meet-up, I live about as south as you can get in this country, so punter would be a very long way to go, especially either heavily pg, out with a newborn! : p
Hope you all have a nice day

Congratulations lovecrafting! Thanks for letting us all know emmylou.
15wks today.
Plan for today: go to visit my Nana in the home then off to do the food shop that I was too tired to do yesterday. Not looking forward to the home visit as my Mum has asked me to make a complaint to the matron as my mum isn't there today.
Hope everyone is having a good weekend.

Gilly I remember the saga with m&p, I am sure someone else had problems. Whilst I think there stuff is lovely I also think it.is very expensive and have only shopped there using vouchers from work. Their cellular blanket was double the price of the.asda one and they are identical.
Def worth a compaint re 20% off gin
Off on a tour of the labour ward now hoping no screamers whilst we are there :-)
Looks like a nicer day out there but stil a bit in the cold side
Eek April that means I am having a baby this monthTwenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Well, I am finally up and had my breakfast. My cat was sick again tonight, not sure what is going n with him, may need to visit vets.
Our plan for today - cut the grass is the garden, paint a few fence panels, change water in both fishtanks and sort out the cot. The house is looking like a tip, but it will have to wait until the garden and fishtanks are sorted. I have downloaded an app yesterday for house cleaning as well, hope it will help me to start getting on top of it instead of hiding below. Might even have to put a loose schedule out, like 9-11am cleaning, 11-1pm rest and lunch, 1-3pm ironing or something, etc. Oh, and I need to get few hours for the forum and cross stitch. I need that cleaner now!!!Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0 -
Ooh Glimmer we're on our tour this afternoon too, not sure what to expect, don't know why but I hadn't really thought about there being labouring women around
I'm in a bit of a bad mood today and choccies aint gonna fix it  I think I just feel resentful about having to work another week when I feel big and slow, and have had to take work home over the weekend too, which I really do resent, just to make my replacement's life easier! I'm glad I've gotten that out there now, four more working days and then I can do what I really want to do, get our bedroom cleaned and ready for LO, figure out how the carseat works, write a loose birth plan, mentally prepare... :rotfl:
Glad to hear Lovecrafting's news, hope Isla progresses really well, those in touch on FB send her our love!0 -
Good morning lovely specimens!!!
Hope we are all well today.
I need to tell my hips to shape up or ship out. They were so painful in the night and I actually think they are crumbling as we speak. I'll be a shadow of my former self by the time this little monkey is evicted. And speaking of that, how on gods green earth it is April already???? Nearly keeled over when I saw the calendar this morning.
Well it seems a lovely day around here and perfect for a little bit of nesting. It's bin day tomorrow so I'm gonna get rid of as much crap as I can and then I can get tickety boo and organised in the week. Whether my thoughts will translate into actions is another thing but we shall see.
Emsbet - glad you had a nice time with your bf. Did you say you were getting takeaway? Describe away..... Are you back home tonight or staying a little longer?
Gin - you sound exhausted my dear. I hope you manage to find yourself a cleaner to help around the house soon and you feel more on top of things. I can't even imagine growing twins, one is enough hardwork.
Hope your tours of the labour words go ok girls. And if you hear any screaming just put your fingers in your ears or listen for the cries afterwards and then your hearts will melt.
Sexymouse - hope you get on ok at your nanas home. We are currently having problems with mine and I understand why the thought of complaining makes you feel awkward but it's the only way. We ate the only ones who can sort their problems out so we have to be on the ball.
If I've missed anyone then I'm sorry but this iPhone isn't conducive to scrolling up and down.

Ooh yes it's April, hadn't realised! It's strange thinking my EDD is four weeks away but I could have to wait as long as six weeks! I'm already of the opinion that if she wanted to come tomorrow I'd be quite happy, it feels too early to be wishing her out but I am getting hormonal and unbearable to live with again, my DH is a blooming saint!
I have the bad hips at night thing now too, don't know how those of you who've suffered for longer have coped! You'd think I'd broken something in the night my pelvis cracked so loudly when I rolled over!
Are you feeling a bit better about your DS today Happy?0 -
You really just made me chuckle Amy when you said you were being unbearable to live with 'again'!!!! I'm sure you aren't that bad. Yeah the hips are bloody terrible. It's when I get up for the toilet and I just kind of waddle from side to side cos I can't put weight on my hips. Good job no one else can see me.
I'm feeling ok about DS today. We had a nice chilled night last night and a bit of a natter and I think I should have more faith in him. He is so excited and just told me he wants to meet his brother now which I thought was mega cute. Think I'm just a born worrier!!!
Thanks for asking.DS1 born June 2000
