  • Amymo - think they had either hid or gagged the screamers as it was soooo quiet:D
There was a baby crying when we went to postnatal but it just sounded so sweet
    Hope it goes well
The last week at work should go quickly and then you can relax, nest and get ready for your new arrival. I had trouble last week switching off but by the end of the week was pretty chilled

Happy - glad you had a chat with DS, one less think to occupy your mind away from chocolate;)

Gin - The M&P website shows that if you are buying 3 for 2 then you don't get the 20% on top off it is shown as a * under the word SALE. might be worth seeing which works out cheaper for you and have them honour that.

Congrats Lovecrafting, I hope little Isla is soon out of special care.

Well had my Sunday mw visit and had my fav mw turn up so cue a 20 minute chat about labour and pain relief (she really is lovely and the only mw who remembers things like where she found the little ones heart beat last time she saw you and what my DH name is).
It appears whilst my cervix is nice and soft I'm still sealed up tight so I'm going to have to go see the dreaded consultant on Tuesday to arrange an induction after all. mw thinks I should just need the teabag (lol) and not the drip and that I'm naughty for not buying a bouncy ball (something I shall remedy this afternoon) to speed things along. She also said theres a strong likelihood of me delivering before then so not to stress too much about it (easier said than done). Ah well at least I'll have a fixed 'I'll definitely have the baby on or before X date'.

    Hello all

Hope you are all well, just had a quick read back.

Congrats to lovecrafting, hope Isla is doing well today, lovely name :)

Sorry it looks like and induction safesound. I am going for a sweep tuesday, 40 + 3 today and no sign of anything yet, except a quiet baby today (it has moved just not as much as usual) maybe it is tired and ready to pop out.

Hello happy, emsbet, hope your ok.

Re the meet up, Tuesday 12th June, how is that for everyone??? I know it is still half term in my area, we have 2 weeks that half term, but it is unusual so i guess most schools will be back. Think it is just my school really as the head likes 2 weeks holiday that wee as she has an apartment abroad so we work around here lol.

Sorry if i have missed anyone, now i know how you all feel when we jabber on all day and you have loads to catch up on haha

You really just made me chuckle Amy when you said you were being unbearable to live with 'again'!!!! I'm sure you aren't that bad. Yeah the hips are bloody terrible. It's when I get up for the toilet and I just kind of waddle from side to side cos I can't put weight on my hips. Good job no one else can see me.

I'm feeling ok about DS today. We had a nice chilled night last night and a bit of a natter and I think I should have more faith in him. He is so excited and just told me he wants to meet his brother now which I thought was mega cute. Think I'm just a born worrier!!!

    Thanks for asking.

He does seem so grown up and like a little treasure, have more faith in him, you will all be fine :)

I am a worrier too....i know how you feel, plus I was in the same boat as you last time and had much of the same fear, it is natural hon.
  • Glad you got the nice MW safesound it makes all the difference.
I have a ball and after initial wobbles can now bounce quite happily - had lunch at my mums yesterday and sat at the table on it - although had to fight my nephews for it as they thought it was a space hopper:rotfl:

Right, garden will do for now. Tidied up a mass of pots on our patio, we cut the grass at the back, managed to paint two fence panels (our fence panels are quite difficult to reach as I have raised beds or flower beds n front of them, also we changed some last year and those are reasonably easy t paint, but there are ome old ones around that don't look like they have ever been painted and are all warped, a nightmare to paint), OH changed water in one of the tanks (small one, now the big be needs doing).

Now need to get to B&Q t get screws for the cot, so we can sort that be out.

Oh wow, congratulations lovercrafting and baby Isla.
I'm really happy for you and it also makes it more real for me as we were bump buddies.

I have no energy today and totally feel like having a sofa and pig out day! Just need to find something decent to watch on the tele. Really craving a cadburys cream egg (and i'm not even a big chocolate fan) :o

Well I'm like a woman possessed today. If anything stays still for more than 2 seconds it's either getting binned or tidy. Im running round like a headless chicken. Also just treated myself to my first normal coffee in about 7 months and think I may be slightly high on caffeine. I think I'm going crazy!!!!

Wow gin you are always so busy. I hope you get the screws sorted for your cot.
