I agree with the growing up too fast, nothing worse (imho) than seeing a child be told to do this that and the other for a sibling. We have a family of 7 living near us and its very much a case of the older ones looking after the younger ones.
There is a fine line though between letting them do too much and seeming like you dont trust them enough to help out with baby, best not think about it or you will second guess yourself - go with your gutBow Ties ARE cool "Just because you are offended, doesnt mean you are right" Ricky Gervais0 -
Oh thanks for letting us know Emmylou. We were all wondering how lovecrafting was. And congrats to her on the birth of baby Isla xxDS1 born June 2000

If Trafford is awkward, what about Bury or similar, never been but it is on the way for me, maybe a little too far or more hard work for you all but I am just thinking......i just thought Trafford was central, easy and free parking, didn't think about public transport.
I agree with driving to and parking. Trafford. However, I might have to miss June meeting, depending on when they decide they want to come and if I end up having c-section. I will join if I can, but I am not holding my breath for this time.
We had a lovely day - went to St Annes and walked on the beach, then sat in a caffe eating cake, drinkn latte, and then decided I wanted some ice-cream and more tea. Was a lovely afternoon.
Got home at fivish an been doing the cross stitch for last 4 hours or so. Can't believe how slow I am - not sure I will finish this blanket before babies come!!! And I want to do few more tatty teddy squares so I ca make nursery tidy pikers to hang up on the wall or the cot.
We still haven't sorted out the cot, really need to do this tomorrow. Want to tidy up the room, so can put the changer once it arrives.
Still waiting for a call from M&P - bought 3 packs of cot sheets from their 3 for 2 range, and paid £40 (£20 a pack) minus £10 voucher I had. Only to come back home and find out that they were supposed to be on 20% offer, so I overpaid by £8. Called the customer service and they said the store will call me to discuss what to do next. I missed the call that evening, tried to call back, but got a message 'we tried to call you, but you were unable to answer, we will call you again soon'. Well, it is two days and no call back. Getting a bit upset with them.Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0 -

I hate M&P with a passion. Now I'll only buy from them if I can buy it there and then in the shop and be grasping it with both hands. They have such beautiful stuff too but I couldn't go through what I did again, especially not heavily pregnant! The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0

I know - I need to call them again. Maybe I just need to print out the webpage and go back to the store... £8 is not little money. I could have got the 6 sheets for £22 instead of £30 that I paid in the end. Might send them another email tonight complaining about lack of response.Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0
