Hello all. Not sure if itl be any use to anyone but was in TK Maxx today and they had an avent starter kit. 6 bottles, microwavable steriliser, formula storage pot and insulated bags for £24.99. Not sure if its nation wide but worth a look? I bought tomee tippee and found them rubbish, never heard of anyone having problems with Avent.

I have the storage pot and its fantastic and cost me £5.50 alone!

Sorry happy, I'll do better next time ;) I had a mint feast. It's a multipack of mint and chocolate ones but DH only really like the mint ones so I've got to eat the chocolate ones plus my share of the mint ones ;)

    Thanks for tip Gilly :)

Ah that was really sweet of him Lisa.

Amymo, I think mine has dropped too. Mum says it looks a lot lower and I think it does too, boobs aren't sitting on it any more lol!!

We have our next growth scan tomorrow and also will be checking if baby is still breech. If s/he is I am going to decline the ECV (if they offer it) have done lots of reading up and have decided I would rather just opt for the c-section than go through the ECV and have anything go wrong or baby turn again - which knowing this little monster it would! So might get an arrival date tomorrow. I think they do it at 39 weeks so could be looking at baby coming around 18th April, my Mums birthday is 17th so that would certainly make her happy

Thanks Gilly, I may well have a quick gander in my local one.

Good luck with your scan tomorrow Laura.

Emsbet - my fave are the mint ones aswell although I could squeeze a chocolate one in if I was to be forced. Glad you got your 18 week appt sorted. Is it going fast for you?

Love is the answer. At least for most of the questions in my heart,
Like why are we here? And where do we go?And how come it's so hard?

It is and it isn't. When I think about the time that has gone it seems to have flown by but waiting to see the midwife next seems to be taking forever. I guess after all the scans in the first trimester I'm feeling a little forgotten about and I would like some reassurance that everything is progressing well. I guess I'm just anxiously waiting to start feeling movement and hearing the heartbeat would help put my mind at rest.

Aww bless ya phunkles, LO will be here before you know it.

    xx

Yes you do feel a bit forgotten don't you. I remember after my 20 wk scan i didn't see the midwife til 28 weeks and that felt like a lifetime. Won't be long til you are feeling the little one. I think with my DS I was about 19 weeks.
