Yes my son is proper excited. He wants him to arrive in the Easter holidays and keeps asking me what he should do if I go into labour in the middle of the night. I think it's quite concerning him that he knows what to do. He's also asked me if he can stop staying over at his dads at the weekends cos he's worried about leaving me. He really is very considerate. And he keeps thinking of names aswell. Some of them are bizarre but we are getting there.
Glad your bump is progressing well. I remember mine just arrived one morning and got bigger ever since. You will be waddling in no time my dear.
I wouldn't worry about the list. I reckon 2 months is fair enough and there seems to have been a lot of births at the beginning of the year so it's made for a busy old list.
So what are you doing with your first day off?

Aww your son sounds lovely and a real credit to you. I bet he'll be a fabulous big brother
Him asking what he should do is probably making him feel more at ease. I know I feel better about facing a new situation if I have as much information a possible.
Not sure what to do really. I think because it's going to start getting colder at the end of the week I will leave the house work until thenand go for a walk. There are lots of nice reservoirs etc round here to walk round but by the time I get there I will probably need a wee and will have to come back so I think I might just walk down to the local retail park and wonder round the shops. Maybe even get a nice cake from M&S

I can't believe you are 16 weeks already! Time really has flown by. Although saying that I'm 28 weeks on Friday....third trimester!!!
Good luck with scan lovecrafting and love to Happy - I think you should celebrate 37 weeks with some chocolate. Obviously.

Emsbet - he told me we were ok cos he had just watched a birthing video in biology. Well, as you can imagine, my mind is completely put at rest now I'm living with a professional!!
Enjoy the cake, I feel like a salad with a big honk of tiger bread right now. What a freak I am!!
Morning Triangle. Hope you got a good nights sleep.

Oh there you go then, you won't need any doctors/midwives as you have your very own now
I've been wanting salad a lot more lately, must be the nice weather. Also I'm trying to be less of a worrier about salad when we're eating out. I wouldn't eat it in the first trimester because I was worried they may not have washed it but I'm trying not to be a silly ninny about everything
Just booked my 18 week appointment and because of the Easter holiday I've got to wait until 2 weeks on Friday, so I'll be 18+3. It's only 3 extra days but I feel like I've been waiting forever especially when most areas see you at 16 weeks.Oh well I guess the time between that and my anomoly scan will be shorter

Hi emsbet, yep I'm ok. Ive got internal bruising from where she has been kicking me in the side and my ribs are SO sore! I have my 38 week appt ok Fri, hopefully she has grown as I still don't think my bump is particularly big plus when I saw the midwife at 36 weeks I was measuring 32 weeks, but was assured that was because the head was well engaged... I dunno, I'm ready for her to come out now, next week will be nice as it is my birthday 2moro and I'd prefer if she had her own bday... excitedbut very nervous about peeing and pooing and farting during labour...
You might as well enjoy the weather while you aren't working, make the most of it... seeing as the weather in this country is so changeable!

I'm sure you won't be worried about the pooing etc when your in labour.
Besides they've seen it all before. This is however why my DH is not allowed to take a look down the business area. The midwives may have seen it all before so I don't mind them seeing but I really don't want DH to see me pooing! Fortunately for me he is squeamish so he's not keen on seeing the baby as its born anyway.
xx
